BDR Thermea Group hydrogen boilersWe are building a house

Currently, boilers powered by hydrogen, produced by companies from the BDR Thermea group, are already operating in several European countries.

- In BDR Thermea, we support the idea of decarbonization of heating and a vision of global transformation of the energy sector, aimed at popularizing balanced energy sources. That is why we invest significant means in solutions such as hydrogen boilers or heat pumps - says Bertrand Schmitt, CEO of the BDR Thermea group.

The BDR Thermea group is leading in the development of hydrogen heating boilers technology.Since 2019, a pilot program has been run in the city of Rozenburg in the Netherlands, including the practical use of high -performance boilers powered by 100% hydrogen.

The entire project was created on a joint initiative of the Stedin gas network operator, responsible for the production and supply of hydrogen produced in a sustainable manner, the Rotterdam Commune and the Resort Wonen Housing Cooperative. The boilers were developed by the BDR Thermea Group Competence Center in Bassano del Grappa in Italy. The first hydrogen devices were installed in the boiler room in Rozenburg, next to the existing conventional natural gas boiler, which provided residents with enough heat and hot water.

The unique Hydrogen Hydrogen Hydrogen Cauldron was presented at the ISH in Frankfurt in 2018.Currently, all new gas boilers produced by BDR Thermea are subjected to a research procedure completed with a CE certificate, taking into account, among others, burning of natural gas with an admixture of 20% hydrogen and combustion of 100% hydrogen.

It is true that in Poland, hydrogen boilers are not yet used, but you can already take care of the environment thanks to modern heating devices.BDR Thermea Poland based in Wrocław offers high quality, renewable energy, ecological solutions: hybrids, heat pumps, solar collectors, sets with photovoltaic panels or recuperation.Marek de Dietrich and Baxi devices allow you to meet the technical requirements of 2021, erected to newly emerging buildings. They are also a good choice in the case of modernization of the heating system, e.g..using the subsidy in the "Clean Air" program. In 2022, BDR Thermea Poland plans to include new heat pump models in the offer, in which a modern and ecological factor R32 is used.
