On September 11, a general reporting and election meeting took place in the fire station building, which presented the board report for last year and a new management board was elected for the next term.

The meeting was traditionally started with a mini -contempt of the representative fire brass band, and then the president of OSP Niepołomice, Stanisław Dąbroś, began the meeting and welcomed the invited guests: Deputy Mayor of the City and Commune of Niepołomice Michał Hebda, Druha Tomasz Tomala - Chairman of the Wieliczka Poviat Council, young.brig.Leszek Kasiński-District Commander of the State Fire Service in Wieliczka, Druha Marek Ciastonia-Chairman of the City Council, Druha Leszek Łacha-Municipal and Communal Commander, Tomasz Siciński-Commander of the Forest Voivodeship in Niepołomice, and all Firefighters who came to the meeting and the Youth Fire Team.

Then, with a minute of silence, all gathered honored the deceased firefighters, whom we said goodbye recently.Druha Franciszek Perdał and ŚP.Krzysztof Haniszewski's bridesmaid.

The report on the unit's activities for 2020 began to read.President Stanisław Dąbroś presented them.You could find out M.in.that: last year, firefighters intervened in 284 events, of which fires were extinguished 63 times, and so -called local threats were removed 169 times.It was not without trips to false alarms, there were as many as 23 of them.Firefighters, despite the restrictions associated with pandemic, actively, but in a modest group they participated in firefighting, church and state ceremonies.In 2020, 4 firefighters completed the basic course with passing the smoke chamber and the next 6 bridesmaids successfully passed the qualified first aid exam, obtaining the title of lifeguard.There were also exercises improving technical rescue at the MAN plant and fire extinguishing exercises at SOPEM and White Cap plants.

Last year was also important in terms of obtained equipment, thanks to which the unit was enriched with a new MAN rescue and firefighting car, a compressor for air cylinders, the floor was renovated on garages, the front door was replaced and a number of small equipment to maintain the unit's combat readiness was obtained.An important aspect was help organized for hospitals and medical rescue teams "Firefighters Medicze" consisting in gathering and transferring the most needed equipment to fight coronavirus.As part of the above action.

Then the financial statement was presented by the bridesmaid Jerzy Makula, the report of the Youth Fire Team of the Druh Łukasz Zagól and the report of the Audit Committee of Druh Antoni Klag.

A very important point of the meeting was voting on granting discharge to the management board of the TSO for 2020.Voting was adopted unanimously, the results of the president were congratulated, who thanked all firefighters for their commitment, help and joint development of the unit in Niepołomice.

Then the decorations were awarded to distinguished bridesmaids and bridesmaids of the TSO unit.

"The Gold Medal for Merit for Fire Service" was honored with:

Ryszard Frąś, Stanisław Bułat, Robert Jarosz and Stanisław Biernat.

"Silver medal for merits for firefighting" was honored with:

Janusz Strychalski, Krzysztof Balachowski and Andrzej Perdał.

Symbolic gifts funded by the Mayor of the City and Commune in Niepołomice Roman Ptak for 13 bridesmaids were also awarded, who usually went to rescue and firefighting operations in 2020.They received them:

The commitment to activities was also awarded with gifts handed by the head of Paweł Dąbrosia.They received them:

One of the last points of the meeting was the selection of a new board and the Audit Committee for the next 5-year term.At this point, it is worth mentioning the speech and mark the words of the chronicler Tadeusz Jason, who said: "If something works very good, it is not worth changing it, but respecting it, and in this is the activity of our board in recent years".Following these words, the chairman of the meeting appointed members to the new board, which was constituted as follows:

The new management of the TSO presented a solid and diligent activity plan for the coming years, but focused mainly on thanks to the bridesmaids operating in the outgoing board: Józef Ślusarczyk, Antoni Klag and Julian Haniszewski, thanking them for many wonderful years put into the development of the unit, especially forActivities in the Management Board.The bridesmaids were honored with the title of "Honorary Members of the TSO Board" and, as President Dąbroś mentioned during the presentation of modest thanks, "we would like the bridesmaids to appear at monthly meetings of the board and serve their advice and extensive experience of their younger colleagues".

In order for tradition to be done, thanks were also addressed to invited guests mainly for fruitful cooperation and help of the individual.Particularly thanks were directed to Roman Ptak, the Mayor of the City and Commune of Niepołomice, and to Tomasz Tomala, the President of the Poviat Council for understanding and great help in acquiring a heavy rescue and firefighting car, about which the unit has been seeking for several years.

Even before the general meeting, the president of Dąbros went and thanked personally for his actions and support of the President of the Board of the Municipal and Communal Department of the ZOSP RP in Niepołomice, Druh Józef Dziadoni during the General Meeting.This time, Dziadz Dziadoń could not appear at the meeting for health reasons, but he always speaks warmly and nicely about our unit.Referring to the comments raised after the meeting, we would like to ensure that he was honored despite the absence of the general, thanking personally before and after the meeting (we passed him the report from the course of the meeting and wished a lot of health from all bridesmaids and bridesmaids of the OSP Niepołomice unit).
