A fingerprint or RFID reader, a remote control, a numeric keypad or an electronic access control system is increasingly replacing traditional solutions and it is not surprising. Not only are they extremely convenient, but also provide the perfect protection for those who lose or forget their keys.

One finger is enough

While opening a classic door with just one finger may turn out to be a breakneck task, a fingerprint scanner instead of a keyhole is a technology commonly used in the so-called smart home.

We have several options to choose from. The Bluetooth system allows you to open the door using a telephone - unlocking takes place automatically when the sensor intercepts the signal transmitted by our smartphone. A key ring or a card permanently attached, for example to car keys, can also become the key to the house. RFID locks, operating on the basis of radio frequency identification, enable contact-free and automatic recognition. When the transponder is near the receiver, the door is opened.

Modern technologies are safe

A lot of people have doubts and ask questions about the functionality and safety of new solutions. In this case, there is nothing to worry about. Communication between devices is encrypted and protected against external interference.
