I don't know, but watch!" - this is how Jaś Kapela advertises a video promoting the fight with Ziemowit Kossakowski on Twitter. The clash between journalists will take place on February 19 at Atlas Arena in Łódź.

In the short film, Jaś Kapela is riding a bicycle, and Ziemowit Kossakowski is driving a car. In the background, you can hear a radio broadcasting messages from attacks on participants of the Equality March, Women's Strike and a photojournalist who suffered during the Independence March. On the screen we can see participants of protests beaten and stopped by officers, blue lights of police police cars and red flares fired on November 11 in Warsaw. When Jaś Kapela on a bike approaches the car that Ziemowit Kossakowski is traveling with, the latter opens the door and they both run into each other. Later, we have a series of close-ups of the menacing glances of both journalists who will soon face each other to face the octagon.

They fight with each other "for the cash"

The fight between Jaś Kapela and Ziemowit Kossakowski is organized by the newly established Prime Show MMA federation. The gala is managed by Kasjusz Życiński - Don Kasjo. Both admitted that they agreed to fight each other "for the cash", but also to set new standards in the journalistic discourse between the left and the right. - Why brew somewhere on the street or in a dark alley, it is better to do it in the octagon - said Hansel Kapela.

During the so-called "face to face" (the moment when the players stand in front of each other after a ritual exchange of disrespect) Jaś Kapela threw Ziemowit Kossakowski with a handful of brocade, and the latter gave him a fierce cheek. Security guards separated the journalists.

Ziemowit "Piast" Kossakowski is a journalist and YouTuber. In 2014, he ran from the PiS list in the local government elections, but he did not obtain the seat of a councilor in Ursynów in Warsaw. He cooperated with TVP Info, at the end of June 2018 he left this channel (the contract with it was not renewed). Earlier, he was suspended for the text "Controversy around residents. They complain about earnings, eat caviar sandwiches."

Before working for Telewizja Polska, Kossakowski ran the YouTube channel Piast.tv, where he mainly covered political demonstrations and other public events with the participation of politicians and journalists. In September 2020, together with Mikołaj "Jaok" Janusz, he started cooperation with the "Życie Stolicy" portal.

Jaś Kapela is a writer, poet, journalist associated with the publishing house "Krytyka Polityczna". It was loud about him at the end of May last year, when he hosted Krzysztof Stanowski in "Hejt Park" on the YouTube Sports Channel, during which he accepted PLN 700 from the host for participation in the program.
