The latest article on the subject of interior design. Apartment for a single The current layout of the apartment.
Magda and Sebastian asked us for help in arranging an apartment for their family of 4. The 36-square-meter apartment is located in a pre-war building with rooms 2.9 meters high.
The apartment is devoid of hot water and heating, so the concept had to include the connection of a gas stove to the existing gas connection. Parents and two little girls prefer a modern but also classic style. Their favorite colors are warm shades, spring and sunny colors. The apartment has windows on the south and east sides. We have created three concepts of apartment layout for them. The most important task was a functional solution and zoning of a very small area while adapting it for parents and children. As Mrs. Magda likes to spend her time cooking, each of the concepts emphasizes the convenient solution of the kitchen and the possible maximization of space. The difficulty in designing the arrangement was the sewage riser set far away from the walls. Concept No. 1 In this concept, a spacious kitchen with a small dining room has been separated in the apartment. It occupies almost a quarter of the apartment's area and creates a comfortable place to work and spend time. As Magda and Sebastian's daughters love playing in the water, we offer a bathtub in the bathroom. In the western part of the apartment there is a children's room and a parents' bedroom, which during the day turns into a small living room. These rooms are connected with each other by wide sliding doors, which allows them to function as one space during the day. Concept No. 2 In this concept, the entire apartment is to create one, circulating space during the day, and at night it is to transform into a comfortable zonal arrangement. Such transformation is possible thanks to the designed system of sliding doors, hidden on the centrally located wall and wardrobe. The room with the kitchenette is separated from the entrance area and the bathroom, but it can be connected to the children's room - the most spacious and with a distinguished and well-lit play area. Concept No. 3 The strong point of this arrangement is the children's room - large and well-lit, equipped with 2 beds, 2 desks and a large wardrobe, and with a free play area. The concept emphasizes separating the kitchenette, while visually connecting it with the living room, containing a dining table and a corner sofa. This is achieved by the use of glazed sliding doors. In the entrance area there is a wardrobe and coat hangers. The bathroom has a shower, which made it possible to find space for a washing machine and cabinets. VISUALIZATION OF CONCEPT NO. 3

Architect's advice

I lived as a child with my parents and brother on 36 meters and I don't remember missing anything. It can too. I greet you and good luck!

2 enclosed rooms with independent entrances. In addition, the open connection of the "living room" with the dining room will make the room look larger than it is, and the kitchen can be closed

:)))) And these probably have a loan for 20 years, they work honestly, I hope that justice will come after death for such dishonest people who live their whole lives to steal and cheat at the expense of others. Poland is a sick country so that the family could not afford these 50-60 meters ... Sam lives on 26 meters with his wife ... unfortunately

People buy a new one, old one is good but wine!(1)
I struggled for five years in a pre-war apartment, all installations to be replaced, walls cold, always some problems. It is also worth mentioning the drunk neighbors - there are usually no drunks in the new house for 15 years
