Curious neighbor? Cover the window! - HOME and REAL ESTATE service

The decorative foil not only protects the illuminated interior from curious looks from the outside, but can also help create the interior style. mat. pressowe

Whether the window will have a richly pinned curtain or will remain completely uncovered is a matter of our taste and matching it to the style of the entire interior. However, what to do when we live with our neighbors window to window and the tenant from across the street almost peeks into our house?

I think I'll start going to the shower with my clothes on, because the buildings on the estate are so placed that the neighbors can almost see me taking a bath. Are there any window covering films available on the market so that I can feel at home freely? - wrote Mrs. Urszula in her letter. We decided to check how to effectively remedy such a situation. Roller shutters or blinds are a traditional solution. Each of them has its pluses and minuses. In the case of blinds, we can freely adjust the amount of natural light entering the room. However, if we want them to cover us, they must be lowered all the time, and not everyone - for aesthetic reasons - will suit this solution. - Remember that in addition to aluminum blinds, wooden blinds are also available. This allows you to give the room a cozier character - says Krzysztof Korcz from the K&M company from Gdańsk. A roller blind made of thick material will cover us effectively, but during the day it will definitely darken the room. The darker and thicker the fabric, the less light will enter the interior. - The choice of fabrics is now huge and everyone will find something for themselves among them that will match the style of the apartment and meet their requirements regarding the method of covering the window - notes Krzysztof Korcz. One of the solutions that will allow us to hide ourselves from the neighbors are pleated blinds. pressowe Pleats are a new solution. - With their help, we can cover the window from the bottom, creating a kind of envy, which allows you to keep the flow of light, and at the same time cover the window in the lower part, where we usually want to hide the most from unwanted looks from the outside. Just like roller blinds, pleats are made of polyester, thanks to which we can easily keep them clean. They can be made in various shapes, for example in the form of a trapezoid, triangle or semicircle. They are also suitable for roof window systems - says Krzysztof Korcz.Roman curtain.mat. prasoweIt is also worth mentioning Roman blinds. These are window curtains made of exclusive fabrics, arranged in layers when lifted up. They are much more expensive than traditional roller blinds, but they give an interesting stylistic effect and in many interiors they can really help build a home mood. Day-night roller blinds. mat. prasoweDay-night roller blinds are a novelty on the market. They give you the ability to control the light - a bit like in horizontal blinds. They are made of relatively thin fabrics, thanks to which the strong sun is only dispersed, but the room is still bright - explains the expert. The situation is different in the case of materials imported to order - the deadline may be extended to two weeks. We will pay an average of up to PLN 300 for a roller blind or blind made to measure. We will incur lower costs by buying a ready-made roller blind in a DIY store, but the dimensions available there will not always be appropriate for our windows. Decorative foil on the glass. Matt. There are also other, less typical solutions. One of them is the use of a special foil. - The intended effect of one-sided visibility will be obtained by decorative glass foiling, sandblasting or, for demanding customers, the use of priva lite glass - says Marcin Szczepkowski from Zakład Szklarski Szczepkowski. Window panes are covered with a special decorative foil or reflective foil - "Venetian mirror", which will ensure "the effect of one-sided visibility". More and more often, they help designers in arranging rooms. - Glass decorated with foil in the form of floral patterns, three-dimensional photos, views, decors, ornaments, decorates and at the same time limits the view from the outside to the inside of the apartment - explains Marcin Szczepkowski. The foils are also of some importance for regulating the temperature in the house or apartment. - Such a film in the summer lets less sunlight through the glass, which protects the room from excessive heating of the rooms, and in the winter it additionally protects them from giving away heat from the inside through the glass - explains Marcin Szczepkowski. Window films in the Tri-City are offered by, among others, Akces and Artfolplus. An exemplary cost of decorating with foil is estimated at PLN 150 - PLN 250 per square meter. Added to this is about PLN 100 per square meter for assembly. Szyba priva lite.mat. prasoweAnother solution is the priva lite composite window glass. - We have been testing this solution for fifteen years. It guarantees privacy. It is a laminated, safety, active glass that changes from frosted to clear, without causing loss of sunlight transmittance whenever we need it. The translucency of the pane is changed with the switch. Such glass is perfect for offices, conference rooms and apartments - explains Szczepkowski. Priva lite can occur both as a single glazing and in a package with any panel of other glass, e.g. shell, bulletproof, fire or layered. Thanks to its properties, it retains 99 percent. UV rays. However, this is a very expensive solution... We will pay about 1-2 thousand for priva lite . euros per square meter. Stained glass in the bathroom window.mat. prasowe Stained glass can also be effective in obscuring the neighbors. This artistic accent will also be a refined decoration. And here we have several solutions. We can, for example, limit the visibility to the room from the outside, but at the same time leave the option of seeing outside. - It all depends on what glass we choose. We can choose some elements that will be transparent and when approaching the stained glass window, we can see what is happening outside the window - says Sebastian Pawlak from Amberlamp. Stained glass can be mounted in the window frame, but also order a window cover, it does not have to limit the access of light to the room. It all depends on what type of glass we choose. Implementation of the stained glass window after approval of the project takes about three weeks. The costs depend on the size and type of glass used. For example, a 50 cm high overlay will cost from 1 thousand. PLN up to PLN 1.9 thousand zloty. The price range here is very large. The price per meter of stained glass ranges from PLN 300 to PLN 3,000. zloty.

This is a problem of new construction.(15)

Just look at the "city park" housing estate in Zaspa, for example. Building next to the building at your fingertips. Living there in the inner apartments is an eternal shadow and the windows of the neighbor. Just look at the nearby "młyniec" there in most cases there is no such problem and you can leave the windows uncovered.

After all, in Gdansk there are old tenement houses in the center where your neighbor's windows are closer!(1)

According to your sick logic, half of Gdansk should be demolished? after all, there are old tenement houses opposite each other where even the neighbors from the window talk to each other and what? go tell them it needs to be demolished. Old blocks were built differently because socialism wasted space and land. Pay millions from your pocket for acres in the city and put yourself one block if you are so medralinski.

What rudeness, arrogance, brutishness in a pure form

"We, the inhabitants of Gdańsk" - of course you will not find any punctuation - too difficult for a native Gdańsker. (I wonder in which generation...) Or maybe for "us Varsovians" (the same beets as "you, people from Gdańsk") such a native Gdańsk citizen is a jar... The peasant will come out of the village, and the village will never come out of the peasant.

I have a problem with people who buy apartments located below the pavement level (46)

e.g. in the Piastów Górskiego estate. in faded pajamas. Of course, Edytka has an XXL size and likes to complain that she is "peeped". But instead of hanging thick curtains and drapes, Edytka prefers roller blinds and Swedish windows because she likes light. Even better are the apartments at Wilanowska at the intersection with the W_Z route in a new municipal or social building. The flats have windows below pavement and street level at the bus stop and the intersection where there is always a traffic jam. Almost like in a museum. There will be crowds of visitors.

now it is built of porotherm or silicate for about 150 years(20)

a large slab is the time of shoddy and quality fraud. The whole thing is connected with steel bars that have already lost over 50% of the cross-section as a result of corrosion. It will not fold like a house of cards, it will just fall out like sand on the beach. But say that a large slab is great as you bought a flat in a large slab 35 years old pissed cage and neighbors over 70 in a gas building. BRAVO I recommend

what are you bothering professionals from Kartuzy? you are healthy!(13)

Kartuzy clown is inhabited by the best construction professionals and each of them has their own house built by themselves, worth almost a million zlotys today. Did you build something, boy of brains? do you have your own house that you meditate like that? . You live in a blocker's cubicle for a few zlotys with your grandfathers and you criticize people who have their houses several times more expensive than your cubicle in the old beggar's large slab for poverty with misery .. What are the beetroot costs in the new ones higher for electricity? there are induction heating plates as strong as in every rich EU country! do you have strength in the old blockhouse? and the steel pipes of the clown are simply not in the new ones and you can see that you have no idea about new construction and that's why you are meditating.

Do you mind a millionaire with a shovel? :) what does that have to do with it? . For now, those from Kartuzy have millions and houses, not you. You can clean their shoes. Real professional guys work everywhere. You lack culture, but what do you expect from a frustrated man who has nothing but a cliche in an old record on some shoddy socialist estate. Professionals have been working since 6 in the morning. Go to the boss's hand and kiss it too, maybe he'll give you a job at the construction site and you'll earn yourself, envious.

where did you last see a beer booth(1)

you must be over 50 and talking nonsense. Don't compare St. Mary's Church with a large slab. St. Mary's Church was completely rebuilt after the war, but by top-class professionals. Your apartment was made of large slabs by Mirek, who had previously cleaned drainage ditches, and Heniek, who had previously been a quality controller at the State Agricultural Farm. That's what it looked like. And the boards were stored in the field as it happened, so you already know why these cracks are tarred and now they are glued with such a nice styrofoam. Look at your ceiling, do you see gaps and cracks between the boards all the time, even though Janusz glued the mesh to you? This is a symptom of the work of steel which has already significantly lost its original cross-section as a result of moisture after numerous flooding and closing radiator valves because it is expensive. Now look at the apartment bill and look at the repair fund item. The truth hurts because you pay more for the renovation fund than the entire rent for a new apartment.

You are probably a young lemming who swallows everything you can.

I saw cracks and fungus at my friends' house in a building from 2009. And you can see your millionaires from Kartuzy, how they come by buses to construction sites, e.g. only blue noses that fly to the nearest liquor store to quench their thirst on the way home. Speaking of heating, I didn't know that new ones are cheaper and everyone can afford them :) Probably the millionaires themselves also live there, as in Kartuzy. As you can see, everything works, walls work too. But your brain (as you have it) unfortunately stands still. Speed up and hit the wall with your spear, maybe you'll reset yourself.

A house for a million zlotys in Mercy Kartuzy :-) You yourself don't believe what you write(3)

In Kartuzy and the surrounding area people build from the cheapest hollow brick formerly used for garages and gazebos, Styrofoam and any higher, any wider and then there is a sandy brown unheated baroque and mold. And the owner is constantly absent because in Germany you have to spend on luxuries on the farm. I know it because I rent kayaks from such people with a million-dollar house in the summer. There is one million-dollar house in Kartuzy practically out of town. The rest is included in the price of studio flats in the Tri-City, in prefabricated blocks in Orunia.

since you write such nonsense that there houses are for the price of studios etc.(2)

This is a show of the price of houses near and in Kartuzy for up to PLN 100,000? show ? . Just don't write right away that something is sros there and that you don't know and there is no etc. Naive show beetroot houses in Kartuzy or near Kartuzy for a price of up to PLN 100,000 or a little more because that's how much a studio apartment in Orunia costs. Enter the prices of cheap houses for 100,000 because people somehow can't find them, naive. The cheapest houses are there, but for over 300,000 or 350,000 the smallest ones in a closed shell and they will also build you at most in the frame system, not brick and tiny only larger to be introduced are from about 500,000 to about a million, e.g. 880,000 and over 1,000,000 etc. If you think that there is something free or half free in Gdansk, you are naive or you pretend to be so jealous because today there are advertisements on the web, so your philosophy is usually nonsense. Keep comforting yourself by sitting in a blocker's cubicle made of a large slab, you naive. If you can't afford it, you're venting your sick frustrations. Plots today are more expensive outside the city than your apartment block..

just because janusz business wants a million doesn't mean he will sell for a million :-)

I saw buildings from 1985 in advertisements for 2 million in cartridges Roof covered with roofing felt the basement raises water in 1/3 of the window from the 80s the last century and a large area. Facio has been selling for 7 years :-). If someone buys it, he will demolish it and build something modern because these old houses in Kartuzy are only suitable for demolition. Janusz that he has 400,000 km and not 172,000 and he was beaten three times, his ass softens. Another thing is that you have to be a moron to live in Kartuzy, where the air is dirtier than at the refinery and the roads are like in Ukraine.

When gas exploded in a large slab 15-20 years ago, there were 9 floors left from 10 floors. The ground floor was gone, but the building stood and people managed to evacuate - it was a resistant structure because the consequences for the designer were personal (including corporal punishment) .

Write better what costs people in Zaspa in order to maintain such an old substance?(8)

The new ones do not pay for any pathological cooperatives and CEOs of smart people. Write how much it costs you to keep this crap in Zaspa. Pipes going vertically like in North Korea, elevators and stairwells are broken, etc. You have to be quite a deer to pay such costs of living in Zaspa. In the new ones, you pay for the media you only use and that's it. New ones cost 3 times less. You will overpay for a good car for several years and this is normal? why the elevators are not replaced on the snowdrift with new silent ones? who destroyed the staircases? remove the pipes from the riser that are an invention of socialism!. Somehow in the new pipes do not go from the neighbor who knocks from the ground floor and you can hear him at 10. If the snowdrift was so great, there would have been new lifts a long time ago and somehow they are not because they cut you out of money like deer!.

You choked on the air from the balcony of the apartment on the shadółki and you are joking around.

Somehow in Przymorze or Zaspa, new investments are going down the drain (see: city park, aviator, impulse) and old apartments are selling not too badly. that you bought a new one in a loan for 30 years does not make you the master and ruler. And the lack of a tube by the wall makes you especially special and changes a lot in your life

everything has its pluses and minuses, I know because I live in a 4-floor block of flats from the 1970s, and my daughter lives in a new apartment building in Jelitkowo

well, acoustics in Jelitkowo are priceless - you can hear your neighbor yawns

Your elevator was replaced after 40 years? :) that means you live in a 10-story building, which is a tragic farce!(3)

This is a show of 4 or 5-story buildings in a snowdrift with an elevator and a garage hall? because it's standard in the new ones.

The new ones have an elevator as a standard?(2)

Most of the new ones, up to 4 floors, do not have an elevator. Look around the new investments near the ring road.

don't write nonsense, shoddy concrete blocks of flats are now being placed in these new fenced housing estates

tons of concrete, see the barracks in Wrzeszcz, window to window, no greenery, everything is paved, you don't know where the sidewalk, where the road, cars parked at random, the noise of passing cars carries in these concrete tunnels, Zaspa was built for shipyard workers and their families - clinics, shops, hospital, new housing estates are designed for singles, walls made of plasterboard, you can hear everything your neighbor does, what is the difference between the blocks in your new housing estates Gdańsk Południe and Zaspa?

Wait, wait. May Pudding win the elections.(1)

After the last unsuccessful battle, the developers will finally crowd you there and put new skyscrapers under the windows. No one will tolerate the whims of residents who do not want neighbors 100 meters from their windows. You will end up like those of the Partisans in Wrzeszcz, who also have the Quattro Towers nightmare practically in their apartments.

    Of course, Janusz, but I don't live in a block of flats :-) because I don't want to, I don't like, I can't afford it :-)(2)

I don't like dirty lawnsI don't like smelly obese women in elevator I don't like smelly staircases I don't like parties of provincial neighbors who can't afford to go to the club I don't like neighbors who have to be heated because they don't open the radiator valves themselves I don't like paying for the maintenance of CEOs technical directors locksmiths cleaners etc. slackers I don't like fighting for a parking space I don't like standing in traffic jams on the only I don't like paying for the renovation fund, which is used to renovate other buildings, not mine. I don't like noisy neighbors after 10.00 p.m. These are just some problems of my friends living in blocks of flats. Yes, I can't afford the luxury of living in a block of flats and I won't cry about it

    neighbor's window(6)

there will be no problem with snooping on the neighbor when investors plan the housing estate wisely with potential residents in mind and do not cram many skyscrapers in a small area just to squeeze as much money as possible.

    pleats(1)

I have had them for a few years and they work very well, but if someone wants to have complete isolation from their neighbors, they will unfortunately lose the view + light which any way of tightening the pleat will definitely limit it anyway.

to make it nice, now because they have to - because developers build apartments so close that you can borrow something from your neighbor almost through the window. Added to this is the absurd price for such chicken coops
