I have the same ride with the touchpad.(2)
If it's a touch pad panel (and not a touch screen), just disassemble it to get to the electronics board. Then thoroughly clean the touch contacts with isopropyl alcohol. Since the panel is located above the oven door, hot steam and fat hit it when the oven opens. And sooner or later, the reed switches will fail and stop responding.

I have household appliances at home, let's say it's a medium shelf. The whole thing is 5 years old, only in an induction hob transistors failed in one field. Replacement is about $100. (this is only a few % of the value of the plate). In the washing machine, the shock absorbers are under warranty, now it's 3 years old and it's ok. after 8 years, it began to crash sometimes ... well, the motherboard needs to be replaced. It's also a cost of 300 a few zlotys ... and it will still run because I would have to spend on a new "similar" from 3 thousand.

You can't handle electronics dude. I'm telling it like it is.
On a regular 2-core laptop with a regular hdd (platter) with 3 gb of ram Windows 7 Ultimate starts in about 45 seconds. On the other hand, Windows 10 Home Premium after about 55 seconds. up to a minute. After replacing it with an SSD and installing the above-mentioned systems on it, Windows 7 starts immediately. I manage to release my finger from the Power key and ... there it is. And Elevator 10 a little later. Two or three seconds. Later. But I have a clean system and only the necessary things start when booting. Also, buddy, if you do, you have. If you have a good 2-core paw hardware for many years, e.g. some core2duo, they start almost identically to i5 or i7, so reasumuhac if you have a trash can and a pile of unnecessary software from the manufacturer (even if Sony Vaio had so much of it that I always upload your Windows without this sh*tu) then you will be muddy like Sven on the portal

I've melted and flooded my phone many times
I've always brought it to life. But it works exactly as described by the guest from the GSM service. Battery disconnected immediately. Then disassembly, washing, drying thoroughly. It is not out of place to add that the phone is 15 years old and is called Nokia 6310i : D Before it, I melted other phones and only one model was permanently damaged after sinking. Water got into the display and it needed to be replaced, but the phone itself was still working flawlessly. And yes btw: I wash a lot of household appliances / rtv simply with a hose in the bathtub.
