The HIRO 580 laptop is a solid aluminum-magnesium housing and a large reserve of power

Gaming computers have been associated with e-sport for years and NTT equipment from the Hiro series should also be considered in such categories. On the lid of the laptop you can even find a special sticker confirming the cooperation of NTT System with the ESL organization as part of the Polish CS: GO championship.

The companies established cooperation in 2020 and based on it, NTT Game supplied computers for tournaments and offered special computer configurations to stores, marking them with the ESL badge.

The chassis of the HIRO 580 laptop is made of, among others, a durable aluminum and magnesium alloy. Already at the first contact, the computer feels solid and I rather doubt that it can be damaged during normal use - and probably will also survive more extreme situations. The neat design does not attack the user with fancy shapes or unnecessary decorations, thanks to which the computer still has a gaming character, but it can also be pulled out at a business meeting without feeling embarrassed. The computer does not weigh a ton, and two kilograms is not enough to throw the equipment into a backpack or bag and play on it outside the home. In my opinion, this is an important aspect of a gaming laptop, because some constructions seem to be intended for a gamer's desk and, in fact, their mobility is limited to moving the equipment by a few centimeters, because they are simply too heavy for trips. I often edit films on trips and I need an efficient machine for work outside the editorial office or home, this computer is so compact that it would work very well in such a scenario.

The laptop is equipped with a set of necessary ports. We have two video connectors - HDMI and Thunderbolt 3. In addition, two audio ports, a 3.5 mm mini-jack for headphones and a microphone, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port and a USB-C 3.1 port. For people who do not trust WiFi networks during electronic entertainment, there is a port for connecting a network cable, RJ45. There's a built-in microphone, camera, and a memory card reader and Kensington Lock security connector.

Of course, this doesn't mean that you have to connect your computer to the Internet by wire. On board there is a place for a WiFi network card that supports the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz standard.

Hiro 580 has a keyboard with full RGB backlighting. It is editable, which means that with the right setting, you can adjust the lights to your preferences. And when typing at night, the problem of hitting the keys disappears. It's a very nice keyboard with a low pitch, so the computer is also suitable for work. The trackpad will not work when playing, but if you do something more on a gaming computer, it should meet your expectations. The plate is large, it reads finger movements well, while the clicks are noticeable, but they do not cause the housing to bend under pressure.

The laptop is equipped with stereo speakers, which are supported by the advanced THX Spatial Audio surround sound system. The third dimension of audio is sometimes as important as the image and many people play on the so-called hearing - trying to locate the opponent by analyzing the position revealed by his footsteps or gunshots. The mentioned system also gives a lot of fun in single-player games, complementing the graphic design and allowing you to immerse yourself even more in the virtual world.

The screen in Hiro 580 is a 15.6-inch IPS with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. Classic displays only offer 60 Hz, which unfortunately means that if you want to play at 60 fps and more, the screen can't keep up with refreshing the rapidly changing image. This causes eye-pleasing "artifacts" that spoil the fun of playing. At 240 Hz, such problems do not occur, and the gameplay is very smooth and enjoyable. Such a high refresh rate and the fluidity of the image associated with it is of course a very big advantage also in online games. Then you have to remember that your reflexes should keep up with refreshing the computer screen. It is worth noting that 240 Hz is still not a standard in gaming laptops, so this is one of the elements that distinguishes Hiro equipment from the competition.

The Hiro 580's screen is also quite slim bezels surrounding the display, which enhances the visual aspect of the computer and ensures that nothing distracts us when we focus on having fun. The webcam is placed here quite unusually, because you will find it on the lower, wider frame. It's a nice idea, because often this element is unused.

A laptop designed for gaming must have a lot of power and looking at the Hiro 580 specification, it cannot be denied. Inside we find a gaming-oriented 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor, exactly the 6-core i7-10750H, which is supported by 16 GB of RAM. In addition, a powerful graphics card lurks inside, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q with 8 GB of RAM. With such components, you can confidently run new games and enjoy high detail settings, which is also confirmed by the benchmarks that you can see below.

Although the Hiro 580 is positioned as a gaming laptop and its basic application, it works well both in everyday work consisting in writing texts or browsing the web, as well as editing movies and processing graphics - mainly due to solid components offering a lot of computing power.

In the case of HIRO laptops, there are also additional benefits worth mentioning. NTT System is a company with many years of experience in the production of computers. Therefore, it has efficient production, service and control processes, and received the ISO certificate in 1997. This means that the computers it sells undergo appropriate tests, and any service is carried out quickly and professionally. Want to know more? Read about NTT at https://ntt.pl/o-nas/
