Talks with neighbors conducted at that time also did not lead to any other arrangements than before, adds the press officer.

A spokesman for the District Court in Jelenia Góra admitted last year that, if not for tardiness, this tragedy could have been avoided. – If the police had complied with the court order of April 19, the attack on the mother would probably not have taken place. After all, the man was at home and there was no problem finding him. For more than two weeks, this decision has not been implemented - judge Tomasz Skowron emphasized.

Is it enough to "check" the apartment several times in two weeks? The actions of the policemen from Lubań seem very sluggish, especially when we compare them with other interventions from the Lower Silesian garrison. In July, Wrocław policemen had no problem entering the apartment by force, where Łukasz Łągiewka, who was not threatening anyone but himself, was staying. They did so despite the pleas of the family present at the scene, who asked for a mediator to be summoned.
