We traveled over 1500 kilometers with such a car and drawn many conclusions.Modest capacity does not herald the thundering impressions from behind the steering wheel, but the parameters are successfully enough for quite dynamic driving in the city and on the highway.Motor works culturally and has been effectively muted.There are no noticeable vibrations to the cabin, although during starting on cold days, you can catch a light clatter.We will get used to it quickly.It disappears after heating the unit after a few kilometers.

The diesel was paired with an 8-stage hydrocinetic automatic.There is no alternative in the form of a manual gearbox.This solution guarantees extremely comfortable operation and smooth work.The mechanism reveals its weakness only with dynamic maneuvers, when the transmission drops 2-3 gears.We have to arm ourselves in a moment of patience.However, we assess flexibility well, and we must remember that we are dealing with a station wagon with a mass of nearly 1.5 tonnes.

The designers also put a lot of work in tuning the suspension.The first generation 508 was primarily a comfortable car.Now they were put on driving pleasure.It's easy to find out on winding roads.Peugeot is agile (10.8 m in diameter of turning back) and the dimensions are simple to feel.A fairly direct steering allows you to perform dynamic maneuvers.His elastic suspension and a minimal bodding trend for tilting.Swallowing the corner sequence is a lot of pleasure.It should be considered on unevenness.Embedded on 18-inch rims, the car has a problem with asphalt patches and transverse obstacles.He can then unpleasantly shake and generate not very pleasant, deaf sounds.Something for something.

A spectacular cockpit dominated by two screens requires getting used to daily operation.The one in front of the driver's eyes has 12.3 inches, variable graphics and tipping clip wandering from right to left.In the middle there is a display of a modernized multimedia system with a diameter of 10 inches.It has an attractive graphic design, a nice resolution, an average reversing camera and navigation informing about fuel prices at nearby stations.Classically for new Peugeot models, so here we are dealing with a small steering wheel flattened at the top and at the bottom.A nice accent is the possibility of ordering red -skin upholstery and aluminum pedal overlays.The whole presents itself really effective, although the textile sheathing in the base variety looks equally good.AR certified seats are extremely favorable on a long, several -hour route.You can effectively relax in them.

508 is an extraordinary middle class representative.Despite the large size, it slightly disappoints with a second row.The capacity of the trunk gives way to Passat or Mondeo, but convinces with a sophisticated design, good finish and tuning of the suspension.In combination with a four -cylinder diesel, it will work during long trips.This is still an interesting proposition that gives a lot of pleasure during daily operation.

However, we have to swallow the price.Diesel prices start from PLN 159,500.The richly equipped allure pack will reduce the wallet by 174 thousand.If we add a few gadgets, the amount on the invoice will be taken by 200,000.Is that a lot?This is a level similar to the competition, which still focuses on 2-liter diesel units.
