The mountain is almost ready, intensive work underground.The contractor of the Bemowski section of the second metro line invited journalists to the future Bemowo station to boast of the progress of work.Passengers are to get here in the middle of next year.

After months of difficulties, the inhabitants of Bemowo can fully use the intersection of Górczewska from the Silesian Insurgents.For now, at the intersection of Górczewska and Klemensiewicz, the light are set in the order of the time of traffic organization, not taking into account the tram traffic.This condition will last until the tram movement resumes on this section, i.e. until February 2022.All bicycle paths and most pavements have already been recreated, including those leading straight to the station.

- Eight months before the end of the contract, we give away to Warsaw residents, the inhabitants of Bemów and people coming one of the key intersections in the western part of Warsaw.At this point, there is only one pavement on the surface, which is in a collision with an information point.We will keep this point as long as possible to be in touch with the inhabitants.So we can reconstruct the pavement at the very end - said Bartosz Sawicki, a spokesman for the contractor - Gulermark on Wednesday.- Everything looks like at the end of the contract on July 15, 2022 - he added.

In the area of construction of the second metro line in Bemowo, trees are being planted and greenery playback.In total, 333 trees will be planted, at the moment 230 have been planted, the others will appear in the spring.Most will grow at the Bemowo station.Others at the Ulrychów, fan and near the dismantling chamber stations.In addition to the trees at both stations, shrubs will be planted - there will be over 20,000.Greenery will also be complemented by perennial discounts (about 1.6 thousand pieces).

Finishing works are underway at the station itself.A special acoustic ceiling has already been laid, thanks to which it will be quieter at the station.Is to have the color of "dirty pink".Clinker brick plates as well as floors and stoneware are laid on the walls.Installation of steel structures at all outputs from the station has been completed.Elements of glass roofing have already appeared on some of them.All escalator and four of 11 elevators have already been installed.

Floors are also laid on the platform.Embolism walls are already installed, which are made of Kortenowska steel at the Bemowo station.At the second station of the Bemowo station - Urlychów - on the embankment walls there is copper covered with patina (it will give it a blue -green shade).Elements of the suspended ceiling above the station platform are also installed.Copper boxes are arranged obliquely to the platform axis.Work is underway on the installation of the third rail.

Finishing works are also ongoing in the area of retention tracks."Currently, floor work, assembly of suspended doors and ceilings and treatment stairs in reed-wire, ladders, platforms and balustrades are carried out.Installation works are carried out, both within cable routes as well as measuring and power systems.Works related to sanitary installations are coming to an end, "said the Warsaw Metro.

The second metro line is to connect Bemowo with Bródno and will have 21 stations.At the moment, the section of 13 stations is ready, connecting Wola with Targówek.At the same time, the construction of new stations in Bródno and Bemowo is underway.Five new stations will be built on the left and right bank: Zacisze, Kondratowicz and Bródno as well as Ulrychów and Bemowo.If everything goes according to plan, the first passengers will be able to use them in the second half of 2022.

Trams will return to Górczewska

During the meeting with journalists, Bartosz Sawicki also told that after three years the trams would return to the Górczewska Loop.However, this will not be the final solution.As soon as the building permit is issued for the next stations of the Bemowo section of the metro, the trams will probably be suspended again.

- In February, tram traffic will be restored on Górczewska Street to the tram loop - announced the spokesman of Glermark.
