Section speed measurement on the S8 route is already working!New places covered by automatic speed control include the Warsaw section of the S8 route.The 30 cameras system already records the offenses of drivers.The cost of installing a sectional speed measurement devices on the S8 route was nearly PLN 4 million.

On November 23 at noon, inspections on the S8 route started using section speed measurements.The inspections are carried out between ul..Łabiszyńska in Warsaw and ul..Szpitalna in Marki and between the Warszawa West junction and the town of Blizne Łaszczyński.Cameras monitoring all lanes were hung on the gates.Measurements are carried out in both directions on all threads of the main route S8.On controlled sections, passenger vehicles can move at speeds up to 120 km/h, and trucks at speeds up to 80 km/h.Drivers should not be surprised by controls.The relevant characters inform about their measurements.
