It would seem that thieves on a day like Christmas Eve take a day off. However, nothing could be more wrong. Six young men, or rather teenagers, decided to have fun on Christmas Eve and break into the staircase in the block at 276 Grunwaldzka Street, in order to steal the scooters standing on it. However, they probably did not know that the block they were breaking into had a monitoring system that recorded the event.

The recording shows how six young men approach the staircase of a block of flats, then they break down the door closed with a magnetic lock, and after a while they come out with scooters in their hands.

The couple to whom these scooters belonged, irritated by their audacity and the act itself, decided to act. They asked for help on Facebook on the group "Mamy z Jaworzno" and after a short time it was even possible to determine the identities of some of them.

The case has already been reported to the Jaworzno police station. Everything is now in the hands of the Jaworzno policemen, who already have information on the participants of this event and are hot on their heels, so it is only a matter of time until they are brought to justice. Of course, they still have a chance to report themselves to the command and provide explanations on this matter.

It would seem that the case will be resolved quickly, due to the low harmfulness of the act. However, gentlemen may be surprised, because, as the owner of the scooters argues, one of them cost PLN 599 and the other PLN 200, so the total amount of the misappropriated items exceeds PLN 500, and thus we are dealing not with a misdemeanor, but with a crime. However, if the case goes to court, only the appraiser will assess the value of the misappropriated items.

We are undoubtedly curious how this case will go on and whether the gentlemen will be held accountable for their behavior. As the owner argues, she has no intention of leaving this situation unpunished by the juvenile perpetrators, and it must be admitted that the solid lesson they should get for stealing will certainly be useful to them. Provided, of course, that the theft is proven to them.
