1) from windows and external doors to rooms intended for people - 5 m, but this does not apply to toilet pits in single -family housing,

2) from the border of the neighboring plot, road (street) or pedestrian route - 2 m.

1. Odległości pokryw i wylotów wentylacji z dołów ustępów nieskanalizowanych o liczbie miejsc większej niż 4 oraz zbiorników bezodpływowych na nieczystości ciekłe i kompostowników o pojemności powyżej 10 m3 do 50 m³ powinny wynosić co najmniej:

1) from windows and exterior doors to the rooms listed in the mouth.1 point 1 - 30 m,

3) from the distinctive line of the road (street) or pedestrian route - 10 m ".

Czyli kompostownik mały (do 10 m³), powinien znaleźć się w odległości nie mniejszej niż 7,5 m od granicy działki, a 15 m od domu. Większy kompostownik (do 50 m³), to już konieczność odsunięcia go aż 30 m od domu sąsiada, jednak odległość od granicy działki pozostaje ta sama.

4. Dopuszcza się ustanawianie kompostowników otwartych, zamkniętych, rotacyjnych – wykonanych samodzielnie w postaci skrzyni i desek, żerdzi, siatki drucianej lub innych materiałów, bądź kompostowników gotowych całych złożonych z elementów z tworzyw sztucznych, metali.
5. Kompostownik nie może znajdować się w miejscu zalewanym przez wodę.
6. Kompostowanie bioodpadów na terenie nieruchomości nie może powodować uciążliwości dla nieruchomości sąsiednich.
7. Właściciel nieruchomości, który uzyskał zwolnienie w części opłaty za gospodarowanie odpadami komunalnymi nie może przekazywać bioodpadów podmiotowi odbierającemu odpady komunalne z nieruchomości ani przekazywać ich do Punktu Selektywnego Zbierania Odpadów Komunalnych.
8. Gospodarowanie bioodpadami poprzez karmienie nimi zwierząt gospodarskich lub składowanie ich na gnojowniku nie jest kompostowaniem w rozumieniu niniejszego Regulaminu.
