MIĘDZYRZECZ: #EkoGrant in the competition of the PKO Bank Polski Foundation

Protecting the environment is a necessity today! The PKO Bank Polski Foundation announces the "Let the Earth Breathe" grant competition for institutions for ecological projects. The prize pool is PLN 1 million. Applications can be submitted until December 31, 2021.

46 percent. respondents of the survey carried out by the Mobile Institute in the summer of 2020 believe that Poland is an ecologically threatened area, and 2/3 are aware that the world's climate is getting warmer. These are slightly better results than a year ago, but still unsatisfactory. Although every third Pole has already taken steps to reduce pollutant emissions, environmental education should still be one of our priorities.

Changing behaviors, developing pro-ecological habits that contribute to reducing environmental pollution are in the interest of each of us. It is even more important to make young people aware of this and to show them good, ecological practices. That is why the PKO Bank Polski Foundation announces a competition for institutions - schools, educational centres, non-governmental and local government organizations dealing with education and culture. The aim of the competition is environmental education, increasing knowledge about the climate and air quality among children, youth and local communities.
