What is Linus^® Smart Lock?

Linus^® will make any door smart. The lock was recognized with the prestigious Red Dot Awards, The European Product Design Awards, and The Ambient Awards at the CES electronics show in Las Vegas for its elegant, intelligent design and best-in-class materials.

The Auto-Lock feature automatically locks the door when you leave your home, immediately after you close the door, or after a predefined time period configured in the Yale Access app. When you get home and approach the door, the Auto-Unlock function will unlock the lock thanks to geolocation. You will enter the house by pressing the handle, without having to look for keys.

You no longer have to wonder if you forgot to close the door when leaving the house. Even when in doubt, you can check the door status at any time using the Yale Access app. For added convenience, Linus^® uses DoorSense™ technology to let you know if the door is securely closed.

By installing Linus^® Smart Lock on your front door, and configuring your Philips Hue smart lighting system, you can create an even safer environment when you enter and you are leaving home. Thanks to a simple configuration, you can easily integrate access to your home with lighting. You can feel safe and welcome with the lights turning on and the doors automatically unlocking the moment you approach them. The lock can be locked with one touch of the Yale Smart Keypad, when you leave the house, the lights will turn off.

Door locks and lighting undoubtedly play an important role in our homes. Therefore, it makes sense to synchronize and manage these two elements simultaneously. These are the core spheres of the home that we interact with many times a day, and which in the last few years have gone far beyond their original, basic functions.

Yale Access App

The intuitive Yale Access mobile app allows users to access and control the lock remotely using a smartphone. Just connect it to the Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge and you can grant access to trusted people, view activity, receive notifications and lock and unlock doors from anywhere in the world. Users will also be able to take advantage of integration with voice assistants such as Apple HomeKit. Connecting the lock to the Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge will also enable integration with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and the largest hosting platforms.
