Kia in recent years is falling with premieres, like a canter with good sleeve cards.Every new model is a positive surprise.Products skillfully fit into trends, the market absorbs them like a dried sponge of water, and the concern counts sales revenues.After a few market surprises, it seemed that we would have a moment to take a while from the prime minister, when she unexpectedly appeared - Kia Xceed.

The first thoughts that came to my mind at the time of physical contact with the Xceed model?If a band was put on, planted inside and ordered to be said after the organoleptic test with which I am dealing with, my thoughts would not be targeted towards kia.The state of affairs would be similar, if it turned out that I have to answer such a question after touching the body blindly touching.Perhaps I could solve the puzzle only after reaching the barbecue, although this is not so certain, because this section has evolved and is no longer closed with one frame, and this could be confused.

It is difficult to talk about a modern car, apart from multimedia and safety systems.New cars spoil drivers at every step.The multimedia system with a 8 -inch LCD touch screen is in the base.There is an Apple Carplay and Android Auto interface, a "shark fin" roof antenna, Bluetooth connectivity with the speakerphone and the buttons on the steering wheel.There is also a reversing camera in the series with dynamic parking lines.The inductive smartphone charger appears in the richest variety.

Returning to 204 horsepower 1.6 T-GDI, it is definitely a recommendable power unit.The number of people on board on the dynamics of the car does not make much impression.The car is pleasantly "collecting", which is due to the maximum torque of 265 Nm, available relatively low because from 1500 revs./min.Overtaking maneuvers are not problematic if we prepare a gearbox for such an intention.The dual clutch 7DCT machine changes gears velvety, but it does it rather patiently.Therefore, there are shifters at the steering wheel to be able to lose a run and make a dynamic maneuver.The ability to adapt the car settings to your needs also helps a bit through the Drive Mode Select system (two modes: Normal and Sport).It regulates not only the engine reactions to gas and the time of gear shifts, but also the power steering power - in Sport mode it works with greater resistance and precision.

Stable and comfortable

Xceed placed on the same K2 platform as other models from the CEED family, there is no one -to -one chassis.Hydraulic bumpers got the front axle suspension, and the springs at the front and back are slightly softer.This means that Xceed is more comfortably tuned compared to traditional hatchback.This procedure simply allowed to maintain stability of driving on roads with poor surface.It's good, because this character simply fits the lifestyle whole car.Based on macpherson columns at the front and the multi -link system at the back, the structure works quietly and efficiently filters unevenness.

As for a compact car with a clearance of more millimeters and an elevated position behind the wheel, Xceed has extremely dynamic driving properties and high precision of driving.Behind the wheel, everything happens in a balanced manner and without surprises.The car willingly enters the bends, does not lean significantly, and the steering in such a situation puts a noticeable resistance.

What about medium fuel appetite?The jerking ride on a partly loaded car made Xceed to use an average of 8.5 l/100 km.A more uniform way of moving would break this result by about 1.5 liters.Unfortunately, I did not take a typical urban driving.Considering the type of fuel and good car performance, the above results are normal.

Summary

With the appearance of the new Ceed in the hatchback version, as well as the station wagon and shooting lack, the sale of the most -bought family of Kia models does not cease to grow.The new Xceed family produced in the same plants in Żylina in Slovakia is now even more affecting sales increases.

I have not been so positively surprised by the car for a long time as at the first meeting with Kia Xceed.It seemed to me that I knew a product called CEED and in fact I knew that it was a car keeping a pace of competition, and even in some aspects ahead of rivals.However, I did not expect Xceed to differ so much from Ceed.Technological novelties in the interior that other family models do not yet have a good impression on the recipient.Equally good impression is caused by the materials used in the finish, and the ergonomics does not raise any objections.I admit that the Koreans cleverly introduced something new to the class of popular cars.Xceed is alternative, it has charisma, it does not lack stylistic madness, and in a variety with a 204-horsepower engine also character.This idea speaks to me completely.
