- My older child attends the Public Kindergarten No. 61 of the Integration - says Katarzyna.- When bringing a child to the facility, I cannot enter the part common with his younger siblings, which is 3 years old, only herself.I called the director, but I heard that I had to deal with myself, that there were procedures.What should I do?I have no one who would take care of the 3-year-old at that time.I will not leave the toddler unattended before the facility, because if something happens, who will be responsible?!It's absurd for me.It is about entering the kindergarten literally for a minute or two to confirm the presence of a child using an electronic card.In a situation like me, there may also be more parents.
I will not leave the child unattended
According to GIS guidelines, parents may enter the common part of the kindergartens with the rules: 1 parent/guardian with a child while maintaining a distance of 1.5 m from another 1 parent/guardian with a child, with strictly observe all precautions (covering the lips and nose, disposable gloves or hand disinfection).
Mrs. Katarzyna asked for the opinion of WSEZ in Bydgoszcz in this matter.
- I got the answer that no provision regulates the child leading to the institution by parents with younger or older siblings - says Bydgoszczanka.- It was explained to me that the director/head of the facility may create his own lawful principles/procedures in the institution, but they cannot prevent me from giving my child to the institution, i.e. if the management took the position that only a parent enters the common space, he must solveThe problem of leaving minor siblings.The email I received was also written: "Leaving a small child alone in front of the door is unacceptable.The Sanitary Inspection is obliged to assess the sanitary conditions in the facility, while this problem should be reported to the kindergarten body as an organizational difficulty of using the facility ".
We must stick to the procedures
Beata Grabowska, director of the kindergarten No. 61 of the Integration, is surprised by the attitude of Mrs. Katarzyna.
- I have to take care of safety at the facility.Over 100 children attend our kindergarten.The procedures were accepted by Sanepid Bydgoszcz.Indeed, we have such a record in them that we do not enter the kindergarten building with a pram (younger child), a bicycle or a scooter, and the parent enters the common part as a sign of an employee - he says.- We don't want to make parents uphill, that's why I found a solution for this lady, but she doesn't answer the phone from me now.I suggest that she drives a child to kindergarten with a pram with a younger child to the door, an older child who attends our kindergarten will be taken over by our employee.You can pass on the card and he will confirm the presence of a child or record his presence manually in the notebook.After changing the GIS regulations per parent in the common space, there is 1.5 meters, i.e. 10 parents with a child will come in with us, not 8 as it was before.I have to protect children, teachers, other kindergarten employees, but also other parents.
As few people as possible
We checked what solutions will be used in other Bydgoszcz kindergartens and schools.In the School Complex No. 8, where Kindergarten No. 6 and SP No. 18, parents of preschoolers and children from grades I-III will be located in the common part, but no longer the kindergarten and school.
- The parent should not blame, we directors must stick to the procedures.In addition, each facility has its own specifics and the procedures are prepared specifically under it - says Eugeniusz Sobieraj, director of ZS No. 8.- preschoolers will enter a completely different entrance than students.If the parent comes with the younger siblings, we will only let him into the common part.parent zone.A preschooler will pick up an employee there.He will lead the child to the cloakroom, help him change and from there he will go under the wings of the tutor. In turn, Piotr Żłobiński, director of SP No. 48 with special and sports departments, says: - With us, parents will not enter school, because we operate in a sanitary regime.We limit the entrance of people from the outside to the facility.Toddlers will take care of the tutors at the entrance door.We do not open the cloakroom.Children will leave things in the cabinets or as long as it is warm, they can take them with them for now.Of course, there are different situations, e.g..the child will faint.Then we will react flexibly and the parent's entry into the school will be possible, but he must have a mask, gloves or disinfect his hands.We also plan to mount the intercom directly to the common room.
