Attention!
PKM in Jaworzno signed a contract for the purchase of another 20 electric buses with Solaris. According to this agreement, 15 new Urbino 12 electric vehicles and 5 Urbino 8.9 LE electric buses will enter our streets. Currently, there are already 23 electric buses in our fleet, and with the implementation of the latest contract, as many as 80% of PKM buses in Jaworzno will be such vehicles.

The Municipal Social Welfare Center in Jaworzno is looking for adults who want to become volunteers and help seniors, lonely people and people with disabilities who need support due to the state of epidemic threat, m. through the purchase and delivery of food, cleaning products and medicines. Organization of municipal services and units during the state of epidemic
The state of epidemic introduced in the country and subsequent restrictions forced the reorganization of the work of municipal services and units. This does not mean, however, that employees do not perform their duties, and services do not perform the tasks imposed. In the first of a series of articles devoted to activities in the city, concerning e.g. counteracting the spread of the coronavirus, we will remind you of the most important organizational and legal information. In the following days we will post reports on the actions taken and planned by the mayor of the city and individual institutions.
In accordance with the crisis management procedures and the safety net adopted in the city in the event of an epidemic, the unit in charge of activities in the city is the Poviat Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Jaworzno, and on behalf of the office, the coordinating department is the Health Department, which cooperates with health care units, the Municipal Social Welfare Centre, the Crisis Intervention Center and the Department of Crisis Management and Civil Protection, coordinating the work of municipal services: the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service, the Municipal Police Headquarters, Volunteer Fire Brigades and the Municipal Guard.
The Poviat Crisis Management Center and the Department of Crisis Management and Civil Protection receive all orders from the Silesian Voivode or directly from various ministries on an ongoing basis and forward them to the relevant institutions, services and other organizational units for implementation. They coordinate activities in the city, they also cooperate with services and institutions from the city on an ongoing basis, collect information from all possible sources on the coronavirus, prepare reports and reports, among others for the Mayor of the City, the Silesian Voivodeship Office, the Military Replenishment Headquarters and other institutions. From March 25 this year, new safety rules were introduced throughout the country, primarily restrictions on movement. However, the obligation to stay at home will not apply to commuting to work or dealing with essential daily needs such as buying food, medicine or caring for loved ones.
Units subordinated to the mayor of the city and uniformed services have implemented additional information activities - the City Guard, Police, Volunteer Fire Brigades and MCKiS - started an information campaign through messages emitted from official vehicles moving around the city regarding the threat of an epidemic and the need to stay at home .
In accordance with the decision of the Mayor of the City, in the interests of the health and safety of residents, extraordinary measures have been taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Thus, from March 13. The municipal office in Jaworzno and municipal institutions have suspended direct service of business. This does not mean that the Office and units have been closed during the epidemic. Only their work has been reorganized in such a way as to enable timely settlement of residents' matters. Every day, telephones are answered, mail is accepted, replies to requests are prepared, most matters are handled electronically. Contact details are available in the Public Information Bulletin.
In urgent matters, residents are first asked to contact a specific department or unit by phone. You can also use the ePUAP platform (www.epuap.gov.pl) or email jaworzno@um.jaworzno.pl. People who want to make a payment can do so via electronic transfers, without having to visit the Office.

Additional funds from the Commune's special purpose reserve
For the purpose of combating the coronavirus, the Mayor of Jaworzno has launched a special-purpose reserve for crisis management. So far, the following have been ordered and delivered:
Ordered items are intended primarily for services and institutions from the city that are directly involved in the activities. These are: the Multi-specialty Hospital, fire brigades (state and voluntary), Municipal Police, social workers. The measures also protect part of the equipment of the quarantine facility so that it meets the guidelines of the Sanitary Inspection.
We will inform you periodically about further activities of the city authorities and services in connection with counteracting and combating coronavirus and the implementation of current tasks.
