What has not changed in relation to previous CES events is a lot of amazing innovations that set us on all sides.I decided to collect everything that made a great impression on me and in five categories distinguish two selected products as the most interesting announcements from CES 2022.The list is obviously subjective, but I invite you to discuss if in others of the incredibly numerous materials about CES something else, which I did not indicate here, caught your attention.

What is the RTV industry preparing for us in 2022?
As on the one hand, I have recently close to the RTV industry, and on the other hand the PC did not show much interesting, we will start with what happened in the main hall of the fair.Two positions dominated here - probably the largest in the entire CES (at least in terms of content, but in principle, in principle) with products with the Samsung logo and the second in the neighborhood, run by TCL.One could also mention the role of curiosities about the LG position, which was supposed to be, but he was gone, because apart from plates with QR codes, nothing was waiting for us (visitors), and that I had no patience to check the codes, nothing about LG withI didn't find out.
Samsung MicroLED TVs
It happened - barely a year after the introduction of TVs with miniled TVs (also refreshed this year).At the moment, only very large formats (89, 101 and 110 inches), which is still due to not such a small size of each subpixel, as is the case with OLED, but the effect they offer really takes breathtaking.
Photos (even those from HDR) are not able to give away what you can see live - perfect black combined with such bright white.
Large formats have always had a problem with achieving high brightness, which MicroLed definitely solves.In addition, it does so with unprecedented LED panels contrast, as, like in OLED, every pixel can be turned off here to get the perfect black.The backlight control in this case has a 20-bit depth, which is simply visible-we will not miss any details in dark scenes, and at the same time lighter areas can dazzle as on any other TV.All this with the unprecedented covering of gamutes colors.I consider this a must on the home cinema shopping list for people with a very deep wallet.
On the right, a microled TV (85 "4K), and on the left, for comparison, the top model of last year's Samsung Neo QLED line with a miniled backlight - a series, which we also considered as phenomenally good!
Sony QD-OLED TVs
From a more accessible side (although we are still talking about very expensive equipment), Sony approached the topic of new news, presenting the first TV with the OLED panel, using quantum dot technology - except that the panel is the production of Samsung, which also has such TV in the futureShow and probably in not very distant, because unlike the Sony TV, which was not physically at the fair (hence the lack of his photos), I could behind the QD-OLE panel itself thanks to the kindness of Samsung's kindness (on a prototype TV without a name).Why is this an interesting combination?I am already explaining.
Obejrzyj wConventional OLED panels always have a problem with obtaining brightness, although half as high as their price equivalents from LCD.Of course, they mask it well with their infinite contrast, but there are situations when they definitely fall out on average.The change in the QD-OLED panel (relative to the classic OLED) concerns the way the light generates.Instead of four WRGB subpixels.This will allow 3 goals that remain out of reach of the currently used OLED panels:
This is also an important novelty that Samsung, presenting these matrices, breaks the LG monopoly on the OLED market on TV for several years ... I am very curious about the actual tests of this Sony Bravia A95K model and models from Samusung as soon as they are officially announced.
This is supposedly the first TV with QD-OLED will look like.
New soundbars 11.1.4 and a new line of ultra -imalistic soundbars
In addition to new TVs, I had the opportunity to watch and listen to new proposals for the sound systems of various companies.A set of 11 promises to be the most interesting here.1.4 from TCL, but not because of the quality of the sound, which I was not able to appreciate in the market hall, but because of a competitive price.They are not a breakthrough product, but I decided that it is also worth mentioning about them.
The new soundbar from TCL has caught up with a much more expensive competition with functionality, but the question remains how it works in practice.Interestingly, it was decided to stay with the older appearance with the material grille.
Of course, the successor of the Samsung Q950A just tested by me, i.e. the Q990A model was also announced at the fair and repairs the biggest problem for this sensational set ... that is, the appearance :) The new set is much more modern and, more importantly, it was abandoned very easily dirty fabric for the benefit ofmetal and (in the case of a subwoofer) of a plastic grille.
The refreshed flagship Samsung soundbar looks much more modern and should not get dirty as easily as its predecessors.
It also turned out to be interesting to sound a new, very slim S800B set (unlike Tcl, Samsung prepared listening rooms for new soundbars, so I could directly compare the sound with the top model).It is, admittedly, model 3.1.2, but in combination with Samsung TV and after activating QSymphony 2.0 sounded very convincing in terms of the depth of the stage.
In the photo two of several available color varieties, an extremely lean Soundbar S800B Slim from Samsung.Under them their functional counterpart, i.e. Q700B (also 3.1.2) - You have to admit that only slightly better sounds than the Slim version!
However, its biggest advantage will be the size and wireless communication with the TV (with Dolby Atmos support, of course).Ideally suited to hang on the wall under modern, very minimalist TVs.
Samsung Freestyle mobile projector
At the end of this segment, a product that would basically deserve a separate category - a mobile home cinema.This toddler undoubtedly aroused great interest among visitors and he also interested me.While I have never been a supporter of this type of mobile equipment, this time I actually managed to create something coherent and real useful.
This is one of the most interesting innovations in the RTV industry this year!
We have already written a lot about it in our pages, so I will shorten my impressions from actual contact with this equipment.It is really handy (weighs much below 1 kg) and offers a surprisingly good quality FHD image, which even thrown on the non -ideally white surface looks good.The latter is due to the automatic calibration option with the participation of our smartphone, so as to balance white and colors adequate to the used background.The built -in speaker also deserves praise, which can be compared to similar sizes of JBL or Creative mobile speakers.

Here you have to forgive me - I do not sit particularly in the subject of phones, especially those without a bitten apple on the housing, so I was not particularly looking for them at the fair.In fact, I got the impression that the producers came very conservatively to the topic of smartphones at this event and will probably announce the most interesting premieres independently, a little later this year.Nevertheless, I found a few announcements interesting.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Fe - something for teenagers
We have already written a lot about this model, including its review.Therefore, I will only add that he was at least distinguished by its presence, against the background of the competition.Pastel colors and in general advertising campaign direct it to the younger part of the recipients, but the price suggests that wealthier parents will also be needed ...
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Fe telephone was devoted quite a lot of space at the exhibition, although on the second day of the fair he did not enjoy such interest as before on the day of the premiere.
Put the cinema on the nose, i.e. TCL NXTWEAR G glasses
Unless the phones have lifted the pulse, so the presentation of the possibilities of new glasses from TCL, it can be said that it was exciting.At least until it turned out that they cost every 65 "TV, but still - you can see that the coming years will be investigating the market in this respect.
Despite the very compact size, it is still difficult to consider this equipment as discreet - but we are going in a very good direction!
These are basically the first glasses that managed to combine any normal size and appearance with a really good image, especially after applying the obscurement of overlays.Perfect for a plane or longer travel by car (though not for a driver).
Nokia is alive
To my surprise, during the fair, there was also a announcement of new Nokia phones.HMD Global has shown 4 new models, and among them G400 with 5G support and a 6.6 "screen with a refreshing 120 Hz.I determined that the phone will receive only 6 GB of RAM, but the battery will offer an impressive 5000 mAh.The most interesting, however, in all this is the price, which was set at $ 249 - quite well as for such parameters, so I decided to add it to this list.
Amazing that Nokia is currently aiming at the budget market - but the phones look unique as usual.
New home?It really was interesting!
I did not even expect to see this group of products at the fair, and yet definitely some of them made a great impression.Here you could mention a lot of small details and entire Smart Home systems, so I decided to distinguish only those that made me know that "the future is today, old man";)
Door from the Enterprise ship in your home, i.e. Waydoor
I spotted this product mainly because the crowd gathered in his position than around.The sliding doors that were presented there had an automatic opening and closing mechanism, which is controlled by gestures.And it actually works!We go to the door, we wave that they are to open and do it exactly :) Of course, they can close themselves behind us, unless they are configured differently.
Obejrzyj wThe opening and closing process is even disturbingly fast (opening below 1S and closing slightly above).Although everything is supervised by a mass of sensors and doors at the moment do not seem to cut the limbs, I would probably need some time to get used to them - nevertheless they are impressive :)
YouTube in the fridge, or Samsung Bespoke from Family Hub
This is another part of Samsung's huge exhibition - basically not only this fridge would deserve to be distinguished here, especially if you like colorful kitchens, but undoubtedly it looked the most modern.Of course, there is a huge touch display here, on which we have access to mobile applications and, unlike earlier models, finally managed to fit it perfectly into the fridge housing.
This year's series beautifully combines a huge screen with a fridge housing - the whole looks incredibly futuristic.
Apart from the screen inside, we have cameras that will allow us to check what we have in the fridge at any time (e.g..when in the store we wonder if we still have butter).The whole of course is in line with the new Samsung Home Hub platform, which allows you to easily manage our home army of cleaning and cooking robots.Samsung even showed a dedicated touch panel (8.4 ") to hang at home so that you do not have to pull out the phone :)
Live is even more impressive than on online presentations - I also confirm that it works very efficiently :)
Finally a robot that he cleans up!Roborock S7 Maxv
The latest robot from Roborock (who will probably copy other Chinese brands in a year) also made a big impression on me) - large enough to catch a bonus memory in this list.Roborock S7 Maxv, because they called him that, is basically a standard S7, but with an extensive service section that it is the name.In other words, the docking station in this model not only collects dust from the robot, but also cleans its brushes, wheels and mopping elements.It also has a water container, so if we choose a program with moping, it will automatically complement the water tank before setting off.
Unfortunately, there is still no work with the cleaning function after our pet;)
In other words, this robot only requires from us from time to time to take out a full dust container and add a few liters of water to wash sporadically.Sometimes you will also need to pour out dirty water after washing the chassis :)
News in the world of PC and laptops
Although I am very interested in the premieres of new processors, graphics cards and motherboards, they are not particularly spectacular positions at the fair (apart from the fact that some of these exhibitors withdrew from the fair).We have already written about new Intel processors, as well as about discs.You can read about new graphics cards at prices "for people", so I will focus here only on what I was actually interested in at the fair.
The monitor that the world has not yet seen - curved 55 "with Pivot, or Samsung Odyssey Ark
Samsung was an undoubted star of the monitor industry at this year's fair.You can of course discuss whether the Odyssey Ark model is of course, but you cannot deny it phenomenal.The very feeling of sitting in front of such a great and unusual screen was something new.
Initially, I approached this model skeptical, but after a while playing with him I am willing to change my mind - we will see if you can arrange a copy for testing...
In addition, this model is the first to implement a surprisingly handy tool for image management to the image - a knob that allows us to manage the arrangement of windows on such a large (55 ") screen.In addition to the beautiful shape, the monitor also defends itself with parameters - 4K and 240 Hz with backlight miniled ones really do the job and it remains only to hope that the price will not be bonding as much as the presentation of the monitor capabilities does.

Cheap monitors for players with miniled backlight?So TCL enters the game
This is the second product, after the aforementioned glasses, which I was surprised by TCL at CES.Curvocated monitors (R1500) with a 21: 9 ratio with a miniled backlight with (by eye) quite a fast VA panel - if we add as low as possible, it can be a sales hit of this year.
At the moment there are no plans for the sale of these monitors in Poland, but it is very possible that at the end of this quarter such plans will appear.
Since we have folding phones, why not laptops?
Such a thought, as above, had to guide Asus when he designed Zenbook 17 Fold OLED.Although to be honest, it should be added that a year earlier Lenovo had a similar idea ... nevertheless, this laptop made a pretty good impression, though rather as a curiosity.
It's basically a very efficient and thick tablet...But as they say - every monster will find its amateur;)
The most anticipated laptop premiere - the new Dell XPS 13
A new XPS turned out to be much more real and in total - here we have a classic cover, but everything under the classic screen cannot be called.Dell also decided to send the upper row of function buttons on the touch belt in the style of old MacBooks, only that, unlike Apple, he actually did it with grace and style (but still just as impractically).The rest of the keyboard is flat, and a touchpad was placed under it that you can't see (but it is).
TouchPad with the help of a happening gives us to know when we approach the edge - they are felt well under the finger, even though they are not physically there.
It looks stunning, although it is used at least strange ... Maybe if I got it for more than a few minutes, I would find out, but at the moment I am of the opinion that it comes out well only in the pictures - especially through the touch strap.
A desk that nobody needed, but everyone will want to - Razer Project Sophia
The second of the main distinctions in the PC industry I decided to reward the most futuristic idea that I spotted in the position of Razer.It is a desk for players (and not only) with a built -in 77 -inch monitor.Yes, seventy-seven inches, although options with "only" 65-inch monitor will also be available.Of course, this is not just any monitors, because they use the OLED matrix from LG.
The position and functions of modules can be freely changed and in the future they are replaced with fresher counterparts.Utopia or the future of the industry?
If you are afraid where you put your PC on such a beautiful desk, I calm down - the computer (and basically a laptop?) Is in the set and is built into the desk!Razer will even allow you to replace (or add) RAM and SSD, but if you think that it is time to replace the graphics card, it is calm - you do not need to replace the entire desk, because PC is just one of the replaceable modules.It is enough to go to Razer for a newer PC module and you can continue to play in the fastest settings :)

The world of drones, robots and vending machines, i.e. MOT
The last category is products related to the new ideology of "Mobility of Things" (MOT).He presented it at Hyundai, which he recently bought the producer of dancing robots Boston Dynamics.At the fair, they presented more newer varieties of these classic already "psopy-like" devices, but also showed ideas from the vision of the world presented in the Wall-E animation ... However, they are not the only ones in the pursuit of our lives to make life easier by work with (ultimately) artificial intelligence.
I am robot, or ameca at the fair
Undoubtedly in this category (or maybe generally at the fair?) The most impressed was the AMECA robot.This robot has a human face and thanks to 17 engines it is capable of expressing emotions with it and pretend quite well that he uses the jaw for articulating voice.He can also listen to his ears (because he has microphones in them), so he knows where to look (cameras in his eyes) to answer.It works at the moment with a minimal delay (i.e..Not as responsive as a healthy man would do), but the answers are not only extensive, but also formulated in a way that would allow this machine to include Turing test.The most surprising is that he thoroughly recognizes the situations in which we address it.

Home companion from Samsung - Bot Handy and Bot Care
Among the Samsung exhibition, I also found a set of robots shown last year (online) - Bot Handy and Bot Care.It is true that they did not have significant innovations, but it was interesting to watch them live in action.Especially since the effectiveness of objects recognition systems and precision of movements have been improved.I don't know if this is the product I need, but it can certainly be practical.

There were many more robots at the fair, of which I found two more worth describing.Starting from Labrador - this robot, unlike the robot, AMECA is already able to move and this is mainly his role - he has to help us.It is basically a Roomba converted into a tray with drinks, while in combination with the right refrigerator it can load itself.It's quite practical.

Finally, a curiosity somewhere on the border of motoring and automation :) An automated agricultural tractor, ready to plow and sow the fields - it was equipped with a system of cameras and sensors, and apparently it is to abstain from plowing civilians.If such a device is allowed to be used, it can be a real solution to the shortcomings in the working force in this profession.

This year, as usual, the automotive part was full of various prototypes.It is also not my brooch, so forgive ignorance and not include this category in TOP10 :) Two positions, however, I especially remembered, so here I decided to distinguish them.
Interactive varnish on the car - BMW with masking mode
This position was the most crowded - and no wonder, seeing a real car (which did not differ in shape from what can be found on the roads), which constantly changed the color of the varnish, should be considered definitely unusual.All thanks to the coating with e-ink, which in full (almost) covered this SUVA BMW.
Obejrzyj wInterestingly, this material is not particularly thick (about 1 mm), nor does it consume a lot of electricity (this is a standard for this technology).It is also made in such a way that scratching the screen, e.g..In the parking lot it will not make the whole element stop working.This actually has a chance to enter into use, at least in the case of company cars (in the role of advertising;)).
A bit of a car and a little home cinema-i.e. Sony Vision-S 02
Yes, this is also a concept, just like the still unspecified model 01, but in terms of interior it makes a very futuristic impression.Personally, I would like to see such a multimedia set adopted by other car manufacturers.
