Stage one - assesses the condition of the aluminum surface

The assessment of the aluminum substrate prepared for painting also includes the assessment of surface roughness, which should be finally smoothed, which significantly improves the appearance of the top layer of varnish.

Stage second - cleaning the aluminum surface

This stage includes the removal of all surface dirt from the aluminum ground using commonly available detergents, but also primarily on degreasing, which is best carried out using preparations designed specifically for aluminum.Lady surfaces or those with other persistent dirt must be carefully cleaned, because painting aluminum (for a good effect) requires a perfectly clean and smooth surface.

Removal of old aluminum paint.Depending on the condition in which the aluminum surface is prepared for painting, the varnish can be removed from it with a pressure washer, grinder or sandpaper.If the old paint is peeling and the locally decreases from a given substrate, it is sufficient to direct the water stream at pressure and the right angle to clean the entire surface well.In the event that the old layer of paint adheres more strongly to aluminum, it is usually necessary to use a grinder with appropriate thickness of sandpaper.As the old paint coating is removed, the paper gradation should be increased so as not to violate the structure of the metal itself and leave the surface perfectly smooth for painting.

Removing powder paint from aluminum.Powder painting gives very durable and hard surfaces, which therefore put more resistance in the event of the need to remove old paint from the aluminum substrate painted in this way.There are several ways to remove powder paint from aluminum.

Stage three - painting a cleaned aluminum surface

STAGE Fourth - Waiting for the drying of the painted aluminum surface

The painted surface of the aluminum should be left completely dry during the time provided for the paint by its manufacturer.It is unacceptable to shorten this time, especially a large load on the freshly painted substrate.On the inaccurately paved paint surface.

Many problems that they can "manifest" on the painted surface, have a universal character and concern most materials and paints (or rather the rules for their proper treatment or use).However, in the case of painting aluminum, preparatory work is particularly important.Errors made at this stage may destroy the end result.The most commonly committed are insufficient cleaning and/or degreasing surfaces and incorrect conditions of the paint application (improper temperature and humidity extend or excessively shorten the drying time, which translates into the final durability of the coating).
