In this context, these more than 5,000 votes you have gathered must be considered a great success. How did you do it? Exactly 5.7 thousand. votes and it is worth adding that, according to the Municipal Election Commission, we had the lowest percentage of incorrect signatures. And how was it achieved? We are a group of ordinary, simple citizens who have escaped from politics and care about ordinary, everyday reality. There are many such people, but this is probably not a sufficient recipe for gathering such support. Five candidates for candidates failed. Two years ago, when I started social work in the movement against the implementation of the in vitro funding program in Gdańsk, I was asked what organization I represent. I replied that the only one, unchanged for 44 years at that time - the Catholic Church. Both then and today, I relied on deeply religious people from various religious communities. First, I co-created the "Children Naturally" project, addressed to people having problems with conceiving children, then I was active in the Responsible Gdańsk civic initiative, whose creation was somehow provoked by the late president Paweł Adamowicz, starting to create - very critically assessed by us - the Gdańsk Model for Equal Treatment. So it was the resistance to this initiative that made you get involved in social activities? Earlier, I was also involved in social initiatives, primarily related to ideological issues. I am a deeply believing Christian, Catholic, for me and my wife, God comes first. We try to live the gospel and the commandment of love every day, this is our everyday determinant. We are guided by the words "What you did to the least of my brothers, you did to me". Therefore, when the Model for Equal Treatment was introduced in Gdańsk, we felt threatened as parents and as families. We felt that someone started to enter our intimate family relationships with politics. We wanted to counteract that. We didn't want to tell others how to live, what to believe. We just said: don't hurt us. The Equal Treatment Model was passed in June last year, so it has been in force for eight months. Have there been any situations that you feared? Have your fears come true? The action plan of the LGBT community is written for decades. The process of spoiling the relationship between children and parents is spread over the years and it is difficult for us to notice the slowly occurring changes. To see them, see the "mature open societies" eg in Sweden or the Netherlands. So you think that even if the situations you warned about have not happened so far, it does not mean that they will not happen in the future? The legal status as of February 2019 is as follows: the resolution of the Gdańsk councilors was adopted, but the Provincial Administrative Court in large part a 106-page appendix to it, containing the so-called recommendations for its implementation. It can be said that thanks to this, it is a dead law for today. Doesn't it solve your problems, doesn't it remove your fears related to these regulations? No, because all the recommendations contained in the annex to the resolution may be included in the regulation issued by the mayor of the city. And every president can issue such an ordinance. Are you running for president of Gdańsk so that such an ordinance will never be issued? Kato the Elder ended each of his speeches in the Roman Senate with the words that "Carthage must be destroyed". The amoja point is: "The model for equal treatment in this form must be rejected." Is this your only motivation that makes you run for the office of mayor of Gdańsk? Not only that. There is also the municipal in vitro program, which concerns the financing of in vitro fertilization procedures in Gdańsk. During the work on this program, we pointed out to officials that we disagreed with it in terms of worldview, but also that it discriminated against couples who would like to use naprotechnology as a method of infertility treatment. The officials seemed to understand our objections and, as if meeting them, declared that they would introduce a reproductive health program for young people in schools. Thanks to it, young people could avoid the need to use programs such as in vitro in the future.It seemed to us a reasonable proposition, not ideal, but a step in the right direction. As a result, the Zdrovve Love program was created, which sexualizes children, disturbs their psychosexual development, natural family relationships and contradicts i.a. from Articles 18 and 48 of the Constitution. We evaluate it very critically. Zdrovve Love is based on the so-called WHO sex education matrices, details of which you can find on the Internet. When you think about what needs or can be changed in Gdańsk, you also notice other problems. I have the impression that when we talk about politics more and more often, we refer to abstract issues, international relations, geopolitics. We're almost at war with the galaxy, while the problem is holes in our own backyard. I think that's what the mayor of the city should be dealing with. Meanwhile, today the president is doing what he shouldn't. As an example, I will give the president's involvement in the celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Tribunal or the involvement of the local government in the rhetoric of the nationwide political struggle. There are almost 2.5 thousand in Poland. municipalities. What would it be like if every commune head, mayor or president took a position on the Constitutional Tribunal, courts or similar disputes? That would be absurd. You are an entrepreneur, you have been running a construction company for 18 years. How do you assess the situation of entrepreneurs in Gdańsk? Is there anything worth changing in this matter? I have never had negative experiences with offices at the commune level, I have never experienced such situations. As an entrepreneur, I pay several hundred thousand zlotys of tax annually. It seems to me that as a citizen I have a right to expect that they will be spent wisely and will not be wasted. Another issue is raising taxes to the state. We have very high labor costs, low employee tax credit, and constantly changing tax laws. The VAT Act has been amended approximately 500 times over the 25 years it has been in force, i.e. 20 times a year. Can you imagine what would happen if, for example, the Highway Code was changed so many times? Do you think that officials waste funds from the city budget? per year, i.e. PLN 150 million in the "Gdańsk 2030" perspective, and only for the so-called soft activities - training, symposiums, lectures, grants. In November 2018, I participated in a meeting at ECS "Women's Voice", devoted to the situation of the Church in Poland. The largest room rented for Saturday afternoon, lighting, catering, microphones, volunteers, guests from Poland. Everything your heart desires. When I asked who was paying for it, I didn't get an answer. When I asked if we, as the Responsible Gdańsk Association, could organize a similar meeting in the city ECS - we were refused because - as I heard - we represent a discriminating and excluding environment, so you cannot cooperate with us. We can only distribute leaflets in front of the entrance. In one of the interviews, you quoted an anecdote about a bench to illustrate civic activity. You noticed that once, when there was no meeting bench in front of the block of flats, the residents made one themselves, even if only provisionally. And today they are writing to the city for a subsidy for a bench. This is a process that has been going on for decades. People who are in high office positions very often have parents who were also in such positions. This can also be seen on the "official and political" market in Gdańsk. It is in their interest, this environment, to make people passive, dull and dependent on each other. It's best if they don't want anything, and if they want to, let them ask for a subsidy. Such people are easier to manage. My goal is to awaken the giant, the sleeping giant. Today, Christians, Catholics have been pushed to the corner, and basically to the churches. It is believed that only there we are to be active. And this should not be the case, we have the right to deal with social issues as well. What electoral result would you consider satisfactory? If it meets your expectations, would you consider entering local politics permanently? I'm past the stage of believing that politics can be cleaned up, so I'm not considering it. We decided - in the Responsible Gdańsk Association - to start the elections in order to reach the largest possible group of Gdańsk residents with the message: first of all - be careful, officials want to interfere in your family, intimate matters. Secondly, I want to tell Christians and Catholics not to allow themselves to be excluded from public life, because they have the right to speak out loud, with an open visor about their views and values. Thirdly: we believe that it is necessary to get rid of the obstinacy known from national politics at the local level. We want to show that you don't have to constantly kick and fight each other. It's not quite like that. In the late Middle Ages, Islam and Christianity were at a similar level of development (and even due to the preservation of Aristotle's works, Islam had a hendicap). Only with us, mainly thanks to St. Thomas separated faith and science, and in Islam it went the other way.

If I don't like something, I try to change it. What is happening in the world right now is sick people are working two jobs to satisfy the cravings of large global corporations. The state of man one with another and look at people already walking like mummies unconscious from fatigue they don't smile they don't help themselves where it leads.
