Chute at home? Why is it worth it?

All owners of two-story houses know the answer to this question: because this solution is extremely convenient. Through the chute shaft, the laundry goes directly to the basket near the washing machine, saving our time and enduring the tiring going up and down stairs.

But this is not the only advantage that comes from having such a chute - by transporting linen directly to the laundry, we will avoid the unpleasant smell of clothes floating above the washing basket placed in the bathroom.

What does the chute look like?

The manufacturer himself provides a detailed answer to this question. Laundry chutes are made of high-gloss 1.4301 (304) stainless steel, while the elements of the structure that are visible in the bathroom are also available in a brushed or - at the customer's request - painted version. As standard, they are produced in diameters of 250, 285 and 300 mm and, optionally, they can have flaps or flanged flaps.

The slot doors are equipped with a silent self-closing mechanism. It is enough to precisely adjust it once, so that the counterbalance system ensures reliable opening of the lid even with the minimum weight of the laundry and closes it automatically after removing the contents. This solution also makes the laundry chute safe for children.

The system is very aesthetic and will look good in any bathroom, regardless of its style, because it has been designed based on modern design and the highest quality of components used. The smooth surface inside the chute prevents possible damage to the clothes.

An additional protection is provided by the insertion direction, preventing sharp passages in which the laundry may get caught and damaged. The list of advantages also includes the lack of static charge (the so-called static electricity in clothes), which occurs when the chute is made of plastic.

Of course, it is best to think about the installation of a laundry chute at the design stage of the building, but this device can be installed in both new and existing buildings, where most often unused chimney drafts are used for this purpose. The chute installation is facilitated by a well thought-out plug-in system for easy installation.

The manufacturer's offer includes several solutions for a drop-in terminal with a cover or a flanged drop-in pipe. You can choose a free-standing chute or an integrated chute covered with a channel with a chute door in the wall. The loading may be from above, but the structure may also allow a laundry load on each of the floors.

The choice of the right solution for our home or institution depends on the construction conditions of the building and our own preferences.
