60-meter apartment in a historic tenement house in Poznań Lazarus

A 60-meter apartment in a historic tenement house in Poznań Lazarus was designed by Agnieszka Tyma, the founder of the Tyma Projekt studio. Its task was to arrange the interior in such a way that it was modern and functional, but also consistent with the historic style of the building.

The apartment is located in a historic tenement house at 15 Grottgera Street."One of the first avant -garde tenement houses in Poznań.In its architecture.Contains both neo -Roman and modernist geometric shapes. In 1906, extremely functional and modern - without an outbuilding, with a publicly available green yard, in the front part with well -kept so -called."Paristers", and inside with a cage topped with an impressive skylight.Knowing its value and contribution to the history of the city of Poznań, we set a bright goal for us: respecting the atmosphere of old days - adapt its functionality to the standard of the 21st century. Therefore, exposing what is most valuable (M.in.A historic staircase, hall and original entrance door) - at the same time we introduced a number of practical amenities for residents. We are convinced that the modernization has restored its former splendor and the inhabitants will fully use the modern utility of the facility." - we read in the description of the tenement house on the investor's website: https: // www.Apartments.Net/Grottgera-15

The tenement house is located in Łazarz, in the historic district of Johow Gelandegda: "The whole was built with large, representative four-, five-storey tenements without outbuildings, with courtyards constituting common green areas. The buildings contained luxury apartments (4, 5-room), with apartments for service in attics and in basements. The concept resembles a significantly designed assumption in Berlin - Willmersdorf."

The architecture itself provided inspiration to finish.

"We wanted to create an interior tailored to a pre -war tenement with a slightly French note.Eclectic accessories completed the whole and added more nonchalance. We already know the owner of the apartment from previous projects, which is why we immediately had permission for the aesthetics in which we will move.Ziemowit gave us a free hand when it comes to the whole space.Initially, he dreamed to demolish all the walls and make one open space. We realized it only in part, we finally kept the possibility of separating the bedroom and bathroom. However, we left a huge double door between these spaces.High, three -meter French doors with gaps and chapted glass beautifully distract and filter light." - explains Agnieszka Tyma from the Tyma Project studio.

Currently, the bathroom opens to the bedroom. As it is an original building from a century ago, the floor is in a wooden structure. This makes it more flexible than modern pellets.

"We planned to use large -format boards in the bedroom, we finally used a 120 x 120 format for this reason. In the living room, a floor board reigns in a pattern of French herringbone with a rim made of marble plates. The kitchenette cleverly blends in with the wall. The unusual throw of the apartment and the oblique wall were a real challenge for a carpenter." – dodaje Agnieszka Tyma z pracowni TYMA Projekt.

It is worth paying attention to golden accessories such as handles, door handles and even bathroom accessories. All furniture in the bathroom was made to order according to.a thorough project in the Swarzędz Manufaktura Loft Decora.

"I will not count how many metal finishing samples in the color of old gold we did before we found the best solution! An interesting solution is to use a smoked mirror on the entire wall.On the one hand, it refers to the amphyladic layout of the room and on the other the reflected light has a golden shade and warms the marble interior." – podsumowuje z uśmiechem Agnieszka Tyma

The interior used products of leading brands. These include:
