Today there was a presentation of the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer - Xiaomi. Company representatives showed four new phones from the Redmi Note 11 series. We know the specification and prices.

Xiaomi officially launches four models of smartphones from the Note 11 family. We will get Note 11 Pro 5G, Note 11 Pro, Note 11s and Note 11. Let's start with the strongest representative - Note 11 Pro 5G.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G - specification

The specification of Xiaomi Note 11 Pro 5G looks good. The phone has a Snapdragon 695 processor with ARM Cortex-A78 and Kryo 660 on board, which was made in a 6-nanometer technological process. The processor is the successor to the Snapdragon 690, which of course lacks support for 5G connectivity. The phone also has 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X memory and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory (expandable to 1 TB). Xiaomi decided to equip the phone with a 1/1.52" matrix (2.1 micron pixel) and a resolution of 108 Mpx. In addition, there was also a place for an ultra wide-angle camera and a 2 Mpx macro matrix.

Xiaomi Note 11 Pro 5G is covered with Gorilla Glass 5, which hides a 6.67" AMOLED display underneath. The refresh rate in this case is 120 Hz, and the maximum brightness reaches 1200 nits. The phone is also equipped with a capacious 5000 mAh battery and 67 W fast charging technology with MMT and LiquidCool.The charger itself with such power is included in the box with the phone.

What else? We find a 3.5 mm jack connector, dual stereo speakers, NFC, a haptic vibration system, an infrared diode and an IP53 certificate, i.e. splash protection. The phone will also support the latest version of the MIUI 13 overlay. The smartphone will be available in several colors - Graphite Grey, Polar White, Atlantic Blue and Star Blue.

At the presentation, we learned the price of Xiaomi Note 11 Pro 5G. The basic version (6+64 GB) will cost 329 US dollars, which is about PLN 1,350 without VAT. The 6+128 GB version costs a bit more - 349 US dollars, or about PLN 1400-1450 without VAT. The most packed model, i.e. 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM, costs 379 US dollars, or about PLN 1,550 without VAT.

Unlike the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, the version without 5G connectivity is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor and an identical memory configuration. We have up to 8 GB RAM (LPDDR4X), up to 128 GB ROM (UFS 2.2) and a memory card slot (up to 1 TB).

At the Xiaomi conference, we learned the prices of Redmi Note 11 Pro. The most basic version, i.e. 6+64 GB, costs 299 US dollars, which is about PLN 1,200 without VAT. The version with 6+128 GB already costs 329 US dollars, which is about PLN 1,350 without VAT. The most powerful version costs 349 US dollars, which gives us about 1450 PLN without VAT.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S - specification

Redmi Note 11S is a medium shelf if we look at the devices shown today. On board is the MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core processor, up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM (UFS 2.2) and a memory card slot (up to 1TB). On the front we find a 6.43" AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and FHD + resolution with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. There is also a 5000 mAh battery and fast, 33 W charging (33 W charger is included with the phone).

Redmi Note 11S is equipped with an identical sensor that can be found in more expensive devices from the Redmi Note 11 series, i.e. a 108MP main camera. Added to this is an ultra wide-angle lens, depth detection and macro (2MP). The phone has an IP53 certificate and will be available in several colors - Graphite Grey, Twilight Blue and Pearl White (Star Blue was missing).

We got to know the price of Redmi Note 11S. For the most basic version, i.e. 6+64 GB, we will have to pay 249 US dollars, or about PLN 1,000 without VAT. We will pay 279 US dollars for the 6+128 version, which is about PLN 1,150 without VAT. For the most powerful Redmi Note 11S model, we will pay 299 US dollars, or about PLN 1,220 without VAT.

Unlike Note 11S, Redmi Note 11 is powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor. There is also room for up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM (UFS 2.2 ). However, the display was not saved here, because the regular version of Note 11 received a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen covered with Gorilla Glass, with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits.

Changes have taken place in the photographic capabilities of Redmi Note 11. The main camera has a 50 MP resolution, but there is also an ultra-wide angle, macro and depth detection. There is a 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charging (33W charger included with the phone). There was also an IP53 certificate and stereo speakers.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 - price

Redmi Note 11 is the cheapest model from the Redmi Note 11 family. The weakest version, 4+64 GB, costs USD 179, which is about PLN 720 without VAT. 4+128 GB costs 199 US dollars, which is about PLN 800 without VAT. The most powerful model has 6+128 GB on board and costs USD 229 - about PLN 920 without VAT.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 - premiere and promotion

The regular version of Redmi Note 11 will be available for purchase in January this year (we don't know exactly when), both from the largest telecommunications representatives and electromarkets. Redmi Note 11 was also covered by the promotion. On January 28-29, you can buy them at reduced prices only on AliExpress. How much is the discount? For each model it is 20 US dollars, which is about PLN 80.

Redmi Note 11S will be available for purchase at the same time and has also been included in the promotion, but only one version - 6+64 GB. Here you can save another 20 US dollars, i.e. PLN 80. The promotion will run on AliExpress on January 28-29.

Redmi Note 11 Pro will be available for purchase in February, and one model will be included in the promotion - 6+64 GB. Also here you can expect a reduction of 20 US dollars - 80 PLN. The promotion will run from February 16-17.

Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will also be available for purchase in February. All three models have been included in the promotion on AliExpress, and two of them will receive a $20 discount. Those interested in the most powerful version can count on USD 30 - 8+128 GB. The promotion will run from February 16-17.

Xiaomi MIUI 13 - new version of the system overlay

We haven't learned too many details about the new version of the system overlay, but we know that Xiaomi has improved a few things. Liquid Storage is a technology that will optimize storage using fragmentation in such a way that after a certain period of time the phone's performance does not decrease. Atomized Memory, in turn, optimizes RAM, where inactive applications will be automatically removed from memory. Focused Algorithms is the optimization of processor operation, i.e. a technology that is designed to focus resources on the active application. Smart Balance is a battery usage optimization that monitors the CPU and battery. The last thing in MIUI 13 will be a personalized sidebar, after which we will be able to select the applications we need from a pre-prepared list, without having to go to the menu.
