Puszcza.tv project completed. We reveal what millions of public money went to

The online project of Puszcza.TV by the Foundation Independent Media was to end in February this year.According to the agreement signed three years earlier with the National Environmental Protection Fund, the Foundation was to receive PLN 7.2 million of subsidies from public money for the project, and by the end of March this year, the NFOŚ documents confirming the performance and settlement of the project should have submitted.

However, when we asked NFOŚ to share this settlement on April 22, we received the answer that due to the pandemic the duration of the project was extended to June 30 this year, and the Foundation is to provide the settlement by July 31.Therefore, we asked NFOŚ for all currently available documents confirming the implementation of the Foundation's activities under the Puszcza.TV project. We have received over 700 pages of documents - invoices and costs include the period from March 2018 to the end of November 2020.

As it turned out, according to the annex to the contract of March 22 this year, the National Health Fund had to transfer less money than originally assumed - PLN 5.5 million, and the entire cost of the project was cut to PLN 5.8 million (i.e. at 1,7 million).Interestingly, on the last day of the project - on June 30 - the Foundation signed another annex to the contract with the NFOŚ, in which the expected effects of the project were cut off. There are much less from the original plans.

Meanwhile, the documents we received show that expenditure on Puszcza.TV until November 2020 has already amounted to almost PLN 4 million. What did these millions go to?
