The Energy Trends Congress is also the first meeting of the industry since the introduction of the Clean Air Priority Program of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, which will be implemented in 2018-2029 and is aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing the emission of dust and other pollutants from single-family residential buildings. , discuss and collect common comments from the entire community on the potential threats to the effectiveness of the program. The concept of the program poses a risk that most of the old boilers will be replaced with eco-pea coal boilers, which in practice will not sufficiently improve air quality in Poland.Only investment in heat pumps will solve the problem of smog in Poland
The meeting of so many leading players in the industry will make it possible to clearly emphasize that only investments in heat pumps will solve the problem of smog in Poland. The situation will not improve significantly when choosing eco-pea coal boilers, the quality and availability of which are increasingly problematic, or when investing in solar or PV collectors, which work primarily in the summer. The choice of gas as a heat source is also associated with the risks of availability and regular price increases and is strongly dependent on the complicated geopolitical situation. The actions of the government should primarily support the diversification of heat sources and its distributed production, as we, as a state, cannot afford to spend another 100 in 10 years. billions for the replacement of coal-fired boilers with more modern, more ecological heat sources. The transition to Renewable Energy Sources must take place now. Gas or eco-pea coal boilers should be only the peak heat in homes, an additional source of heat in Hybrid Heating Systems with air or ground heat pumps, and photovoltaic systems should be treated as a way of self-sufficiency of installations with heat pumps and not the basis of the system. It is the cooperation of many renewable energy devices in one ecological, independent hybrid heating system that will be devoted to a large part of the Congress. Work on such modern energy management systems is ongoing in many companies in Poland, and is most often based on cooperation with the best universities in the country. Investing in renewable energy is today the best way to make the best use of Polish technical thought.
