The webcam has a lot of functions that include both hardware and software solutions.It is worth noting that from the reviewed model (this is the second from above in the hierarchy of the product brand equipment) we can find a non -re -class polarization filter, which removes light reflections from the glass.The filter is adjustable - turning the knob on the lens housing, we adapt it to your needs.
The great advantage is the use of a touch screen, thanks to which the recorder's body is so small.The three -inch IPS works great every day, and the menu design, in which we find a maximum of 4 windows on one screen, makes the navigation fast and trouble -free.

522 provides the maximum resolution of the 1440p HD recording (2560 × 1440 pixels) at 30 frames per second, the double number of frames is available at HD (this is an analogous situation we were dealing with at Mio MIVUE 812).

What distinguishes the reviewed device is brilliant in its simplicity tactile operation - I have the impression that this fact itself makes a large group of potential users decide on such a model, not wanting to use physical control often with tiny buttons.
In the case of 522GW, we are dealing with a 3 -inch IPS touch screen, reacting to commands quickly and without unnecessary cage.I like the fact that the creators of the webcam focused on simplicity: when it is started in the car, the preview and registration mode immediately turns on, while the menu causes a tap in the recording icon.

Similarly with the computer version - here for the full card (I used the company, included in the test set) we will wait about 40 minutes.In return, the program will repay with the richness of the preview option and a well -functioning image enlargement mechanism, which begins to have problems only at night recordings:

This is still nothing, because the attachment of an additional module has also been well solved - just plug it in a slot, located on the right side of the housing and ... so much.The rest "gets alone", and after a few seconds from the connection we enjoy the combined image on the screen (1/4 does what is recorded by an additional webcam).Of course, the recordings themselves are saved as separate files.

A separate paragraph is due to the quality of workmanship, because the Nextbase 522GW is a pattern in its price class.The device is well fitted, and the materials used beat the plastics used by competitors.The quality of magnetic latches and their work is also a class in itself, as well as mounting modules.

Unfortunately, the device did not have light tests and accompanied me during a typical autumn aura, but it coped with it quite well.However, I have to admit that the recordings in the rain and after dark disappointed me a bit - after such a bright optics I just expected more.
But the internal and rear module is a plus: if it wasn't for the fact that I could test them myself, I wouldn't believe that it was so comfortable and well -proven solutions.The image is clear and loses only during night recordings, and the microphone registers without any problems conversations conducted by normal volume.

Is it worth buying Nextbase 522GW?
Before I started the Nextbase tests, I was curious how in practice such a promising combination would work.Well, it turned out to be one of the most convenient recorders I was dealing with.
It is primarily due to the magnetic handle to the shoulder, allowing you to take the recorder from the car with one move and install the same, but also intuitive operation on the touch screen, the possibility of pairing with the application and easy viewing of recordings on the computer screen.

Nextbase 522GW, apart from friendly service and rich communication, offers very good quality recordings at the day and good at night, and the icing on the cake are modules that allow us to monitor the interior of the car and what happens in its immediate surroundings.The wealth of settings with advanced functions such as Alexa's support or SOS calls, as well as great quality of workmanship, also deserves praise.
If you are able to accept the price (let me remind you that the database for PLN 900 will not offer us full possibilities, and an additional module costs PLN 300) and you need good recordings not only of what is happening in front of the car, but also next to it and in the middle of the cabin, this 522 is a really interesting choice!
