Orllo Huntercam Pro camera in practice

At the beginning the topic of the power supply.The camera can work on both six (we get in free) and twelve AA batteries.We have two chambers that were connected in parallel.If you mount the battery, it is worth remembering that they will not be charged if you use a fixed power.Of course, working time depends on how many photos you get.The larger, the shorter it will be, so do not save and buy yourself a dedicated solar panel Orllo SP100.The total cost is less than a thousand zlotys.I think it's worth.A huge plus for the manufacturer for not interfering with nature, because Orllo Huntercam Pro "install" on a tree with a belt that wraps the trunk.However, it is different in the case of a solar panel, which we need to attach with three screws.Remember to set LTE connectivity as available all the time, because only then will you have remote access to the camera.

Yes it's true.This is a great, solid camera that is very easy to use.The application is cool, intuitive, but it works as if it couldn't.The quality of movies and photos is great.The sensors work correctly.Honestly, I have nothing to fault - maybe only to the software, because sometimes the application worked slowly.In my opinion, the price is adequate to what the customer receives.I am yes!I highly recommend it.Oh, remember not to save and buy a camera with a SP100 solar panel.This one has a built -in battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh and for a long period of testing I had no problems with it even once..

I didn't expect that

I have to stop for a moment with two cameras, namely Orllo PowerCam E2 Pro and Orllo Simple.The first is external and offers connectivity only via Wi-Fi.In turn, the second, internal uses for 3G connectivity.At first I thought that it should be the other way around, because why a SIM card at home, since we have Wi-Fi there?So I asked the manufacturer and I already know!

Orllo Simple's internal camera is very useful for monitoring the elderly, sick people.There are no wifi in their homes, care centers or hospitals.

Another application turns out to be the function of an electronic nanny, but ....under the tent, at the camping etc..Adults can sit to the bonfire with a guitar and singing a few meters from the tent and have a attention to children.The camera has a built -in microphone and speaker, thus enabling two -way communication.

I also see the sense of installing this technology in the case of warehouses where wireless internet is not needed, and we would like to see anyway whether no stranger is in the hall.Well, Orllo, but I see that GSM connectivity in the case of this camera is useful.I did not expect so many opportunities to apply.

Orllo Simple can be used, for example, as an electronic nanny, control over employees, or even home monitoring.The parameters do not seem very strong.I mean, above all, 1 Mpix converter.However, we must remember that the camera works in 3G networks, so this is an ideal quality balance to the speed of data transmitted, and the movie played remotely will be liquid and good quality.Other parameters are: a viewing angle of 110 degrees, aperture f/2.2, as well as the resolution of the recording, which is 720p, i.e. HD (25 frames per second, H264 video compression).It is true that the device has a built -in battery, but it is only used to maintain current for some time.Anyway, it will be best if Orllo Simple is connected to the network all the time.The microUSB port is used for this.It is worth mentioning that this model also offers night mode.The manufacturer also attached the application with which we control the camera.Of course, it is available in Polish and works on both Android and iOS.

Orllo Simple offers a number of interesting solutions

First of all, I mean a reduction in signal interference, as well as a live view of what is happening on the other side of the lens.It is worth mentioning that Orllo Simple is equipped with a glass, multi -lens lens.Interestingly, this model can share the Wi-Fi network (remember that it has a built-in SIM card port).Thanks to the dedicated DDNS server, we can quickly configure the device.The monitored room preview is of course free.I also can't miss the fact that the device also works at night thanks to the MIR LED.In the end, if we don't look at, we would also like to see what is happening at night.Of course, let's not forget about technical issues.The transducer has 1 Mpix, which translates into an image in HD, but gives smooth playback.The advantage is the lens that offers a viewing angle of 110 degrees.Brightness f/2.2 is not the highest, but correct.Of course, the camera offers traffic detection, infrared recording (at night).The image is compressed by H264.The film is recorded in 25 frames per second.The camera does not require additional power supply, if you want to use it for a maximum of four hours.It is enough, however, that we will connect to it with microUSB external power supply.I mean, for example, a powerbank.

The built -in battery is very important when we use the camera in places with frequent lack of electricity, and above all in the case of sabotage of thieves who cut off the current before burglary.

The last, but one of the most important solutions is a free recording in the cloud.Camera recordings can be stored on a virtual disk up to 30 days.

Camera in practice

The manufacturer should be praised for the ease of use and installation.Indeed, everything is done quickly.We download the application to our smartphone, register, start the camera, the QR code is read, enter the password to Wi-Fi (unless we use the starter) and after a while the camera is ready for use.Due to the fact that it connects to the DDNS server, we have the so -called live image streaming on the screen of our smartphone.The picture is quite good, but it is far from the ideal.I mean this daily and night.A little too much noise appears on the screen when you want to take a photo or movie.If the equipment detects movement, it informs us about it quickly, and also saves a given situation on the disk.Thanks to the microphone and the speaker, we can communicate on both sides with a person on the other side of the lens.The delay is negligible, so we can also talk without any problems.In the era of coronavirus, for example, when we prefer to avoid frequent contact with an elderly person from our family, and by the way we prefer to have a preview of Orllo Simple is an ideal solution.

ORLLO PowerCam E2 Pro outer camera

I will tell you something, or rather write.I was focused on the fact that Orllo cameras would work great without the need for Wi-Fi, for example.I especially wanted to install Huntercam and PowerCam E2 Pro on my plot.Even despite the fact that the latter has no GSM.I would come from time to time, pull out the memory card and analyze what was recorded.While the first one works very well, the latter is not quite suitable for such things.Especially that the manufacturer suggests that it better mount it in places with a roof.However, the smaller one with this.I mean more that when configuring the device requires communication with a Wi-Fi network.And this is its limitation when it comes to the place of assembly.If she had GSM service - it would be perfect.I have heard that Orllo is working on such a camera.

Orllo PowerCam E2 Pro in practice

Again a positive surprise when it comes to configuration.The whole goes very quickly.The settings are intuitive and the application is easy to use.In this case, I have nothing to fault.Installation of the camera also belongs to the very easy ones.We have screws in the set, so just choose the right place and ....If there is no electricity there, we can use a solar panel.I even recommend such a set, because it costs PLN 549 on the manufacturer's website.You connect to Wi-Fi, you connect Solar (it has a 4-meter long cable) and forget that there is a camera there until it starts to inform about the event.We then receive a notification to our smartphone.The application works efficiently and the image quality is at a high level.Of course, if you have a good connection to the Wi-Fi network.Well, what if it is not?In this case, you must use the repeater, i.e. a Wi-Fi signal amplifier.I refer to our other article describing how to strengthen the quality of the wireless network signal.

The quality of recordings is very good - both during the day and at night.So we have a view of what is happening in front of our house.I recommend such a device to install on people living on the ground floor.The intruder may be interested in entering our apartment without a balcony or terrace will be.Thanks to the ORLLO PowerCam E2 Pro camera you will quickly find out that someone strangers "spinning there", which will allow you to react.

In a word of initial summary

Each of the cameras presented here has its pros and cons.They are certainly connected by one thing.I am talking about high quality workmanship.The advantage is also that assembly and configuration is simply trivial.Even a layman can handle her.It is a pity that I had to have a different application for each camera.They come from other series of products.If we choose several cameras from the same series, then we can all operate in one application.

I have a plot without access to electricity and I would like to monitor it.In my case, Orllo Huntercam did perfectly, and the other cameras do not quite work well in my terms.Orllo PowerCam E2 Pro offers good quality recordings, it can be used outside but ... requires a Wi-Fi connection.So it can be useful for a plot with a flow.

In turn, Orllo Simple 3G offers GSM connectivity, it is also characterized by good quality recordings at night and day, but ... it is an internal camera.I prefer external monitoring on the plot.

I also tested Orllo Camsim-2s, but it is an industrial camera and I left a place for it for a separate article.In fact, one hundred percent, in terms of my requirements, Orllo Huntercam did.Although I wonder that you can figure it out.Finally a Pole can.So, Orllo Simple 3G has the ability to make a hot water.So it would be the "source" of the Internet for Orllo PowerCam E2 Pro.Therefore, the first one would be placed in a roofing (if we have on the plot, e.g..summer house).In turn, the second one would monitor what is happening outside.Problem solved.
