Another frequently indicated reasons why Poles give up protection against cyber threads are ignorance, where to look for such a protective application (47%), which to choose (46%) and how to install it (31%).Often, the reason is also the lack of awareness that they should install something at all, which results from the belief that such an application has already been installed on their device by the manufacturer (46%) or simply that having security is not necessary (34%).In turn, 24% of people indicated that they did not install any security applications due to too high costs related to it.
What threats are we afraid and on what devices do we need to protect the most?
Phishing attacks (56%of indications), exposure of children to cybergriting (56%) and loss of confidential data (54%) are cybergrodings that Poles are most afraid of the most fear.The list also includes: ransomware attacks (53%) and loss of privacy (49%).

Interesting results also brought a part of the study on how many Poles are willing to pay for their online security.They show that on average it is PLN 32.5 per month for comprehensive home smart home and PLN 31.8 for full home protection and all user devices.
As many as 60% of Poles admitted that if an offer was on the market promoting comprehensive protection on the web, it would be a serious argument to change the service provider.22% of respondents would definitely decide on such a step, and in 38% of cases such a decision would be likely.
The Alot and Coleman Research online survey was carried out on a representative group of 1000 Poles in August 2020.
