Sony Xperia PRO-I was priced in Poland at PLN 8,399. There is no surprise here, because it is an almost perfect conversion from the official price of this model in Europe.

I tracked the smartphone in two Polish stores: Scentre and Fotoforma. None of them mention any gift, allowance, discount, etc.

A few words about Xperia PRO-I

The biggest distinguishing feature of the main character of this entry is, of course, the camera. Sony boasts of using a huge, 1-inch matrix, apparently similar in type to those used in the line of compact RX100 cameras.

The pixels are as large as 2.4 micrometers. The manufacturer also decided on a variable aperture in the range from f/2.0 to f/2.4. We also have OIS, autofocus supporting as many as 315 sharpening points, eye tracking mode, 20 fps burst photos or Zeiss Tessar T anti-reflective coating.

The Sony Xperia PRO-I photographic equipment is also complemented by a 12-megapixel telephoto lens (1/2.9 ", OIS, 2x optical zoom), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 124-degree field of view and a 3D ToF sensor. There is also an 8MP selfie camera on board.

In terms of typical specs, the Xperia PRO-I is last year's flagship. We get a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 4K 120 Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of memory, a 4500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging, Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.2, memory card slot, stereo speakers or NFC.

It's all wrapped up in a 166 x 72 x 8.9mm, 211 gram, waterproof and dustproof (IP65/IP68) chassis.
